Chapter 11 (Severus)

"We need to talk." The dark lord said darkly. I gulped but nodded and backed up from the fireplace. "I am trusting you to take care of my son. You can't say anything about the vow, for it broke when I adopted him." He said.

I didn't know that, and I honestly didn't care. "Lily, my sister, asked me to protect him, so I will. I won't treat him like his muggle aunt and uncle did. That is a vampire's promise." I said and showed him my vampire teeth.

He nodded. "Good. I do want to talk to the vampires about joining us. It will give my son more ally when he gets ready to take over."

"Of course. If it is anything like his enterations with the werewolves, he will easily be accepted." I say remembering when he first met Greyback's pack.

I could see something reflected in the dark lord's eyes, but he just nodded and devised me. Harry was not there when I got through the flu, but that was to be expected. I headed to dinner, where I saw him sit with the twins and a ravenclaw. I decided to listen in.

"... So when do you want to meet dad?." Harry asked the Raven.

"I just learned I am not a mudblood a week ago, I will take long to adjust. Are you sure he will even want me? I was raised by muggles, and I kinda want them to stay alive." The girl said. "Though I do prefer the name Salina."

"It will take time, and that's ok, sis. Dad would love to have you back. He isn't as insane as people make him out to be. Also, he allows me to have muggle friends, so I think he will be fine with you keeping the Granger around, but if they start mistreating you, he will not hesitate to torture them. I might have made him promise not to kill muggleborns, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like it." Hadren said. "Oh, now that the blocks on your Parsletoung and Parslemagic are gone, we can visit the chamber of secrets."

"Yay, that would be nice. I heard that Salizar had a huge library full of all sorts of books." Haminie said excitedly.

"After that I probably get you to meet the vampire that has been tasked to protect me, and now you as he desided it was a good idea to listen in on our conversation, silent spell or not," He said. Then, he turned me and smiled. I just smiled back at him. This is what I get for listing, but I have a sneak suspicion that he was waiting for me to listen in. I mentally sighed and finished eating.

I head to my potions lab afterward. As it was a full moon tomorrow, I could not go outside to gather materials. I would have to ask Hadren or Salina to get me basilisk venom and scales. Though I would owe them something, and that is never good.

It was around midnight when I got done with the potions that I had to finish. I had a bad feeling about the next day. I had finished the wolf bane potion, but I also knew only a few of Greyback's packs took it. Greyback himself hated the potion. I sighed one final time before heading off to bed.
