A First

Chapter 2

Amanda's POV

I was still in the shower when I heard the scariest scream I have ever heard in all my sixteen years of living, well almost sixteen years.
I ran out of the shower took out my towel and cleaned my face then ran out of the bathroom with only my towel wrapped around my chest.
I was shocked to see one of my new friends' Sawyers standing over my second new friend Naira lying on the floor with both of her legs and hands twisted the other way.
For a human it means the person is death but for werewolves it only means one thing. And that was the fact that she was getting her wolf.
"Hurry up go call any of the attendants I will stay here she is changing" even as I spoke Sawyer stood there lost and scared. I had to physically push her to get moving before she snapped out of it.
There was nothing I could do but stand there and watch, and in my very front stood a pure white wolf sleeping. It was the purest wolf I have seen. It was as snow. It was like a huge snow been bundled in a form of the wolf. It was so beautiful I was so much in love with the snow white wolf.
I was so engrossed in watching the wolf that I didn't see Sawyer and three camp officials came in looking so shocked. They both left and return some time later with Alpha Howard who used so much strength to lift her up from the floor still in her wolf form with the help of the three officials.
At the back of my mind I knew something was very wrong with this scene it does not take a werewolf less than ten minutes to change into her wolf for the very first time.
"I want this to remain between the six of us, if words get out I fear her fate." said Alpha Howard before stepping out of the room.
Soon she changed back to her human form and I was shocked ones more to see that not even a tear was in her cloths. It was like the last fifteen minutes or so didn't happen.
"I need water" Naira said and Sawyer hurried to the side and came back with a bottle of water.
I needed time to myself to let everything which has just happen sink into myself, because right now I am sure I felt sourer than the person who just had every bone in her body broken and muscles stretched.

Alpha Malcolm's POV

It was interesting watching my mate and the mate of my gamma making us breakfast. I, the beta, the gamma and the delta all sat in the kitchen island watching them cook.
Amongst the four of us it was only my beta who hasn't found his mate, and sometimes I feel it takes toll on him especially in gatherings.
His younger brother who became my gamma when he came back from the university after having studied business management came back with his mate heavily pregnant.
She happened to have also just gotten her degree but in medicine. When he arrived it was just in time for the competition of the position of the gamma that is third in command. For two days it was a continuous battle and he emerged the winner.
A phone ringing brought me out of my thought. Picking up the phone I said "Hello Alpha Malcolm Gardener speaking"
"This is Alpha Howard Diamantes speaking. I happen to be the one in charge of the werewolf camp for this month and something happened this morning that involves your sister"
My heartbeat was beginning to accelerate; I wasn't prepared for any bad new concerning my kid sister. She is the only sibling I have.
"Yes Howard I am listening"
"This morning I had gone to my morning run which usual last two or three hours, but for some reason I had a nagging feeling to return early. When i got back i was welcomed by three camp officials who were looking scared like they had just seen a damaged moon"
"What is all this about, and how does this affect my sister"
"You see this camp officials told me that you sister who happens to still have eight days before her sixteenth birthday changed into her wolf this morning. And the most fearsome part of this is that usually a normal wolf takes a whole twelve hours of pains before they change and other alpha about five to seven hours before they morph into their wolf took your sister ten minutes to do that. The pain was so bad that she fainted from it, she has been revived but she is now sleeping"
"Oh the gracious goddess" was all I could say, this is one of the reasons why my parents made their cruise only six months so they would be here for her birthday. Stuffs where going to happen and it was causing a chill run through my veins.
"I need not remind you that if news about this gets out, it would bring so many bad people her way. We don't know what power she possesses or if she even does, so the best thing is to come pick her up and have your best fighters to couch her on all she was to learn here."
"I am very grateful for all your help"
" I made sure to keep this a in a wrap only the three camp officials amongst which two are from your pack and the other my pack and her two friends who know what really happened. I will write out all she is to learn and hand it to you when you come to pick her up"
"Thank ones again, I would see you soon"
I ran out of the house mind linking three of my top fighters, the beta and the Delta to come with me. The gamma could protect the pack.
I got into my hummer because that is what is perfect for the road and the others got into the range rover as we speed like mad men to the camp side.
While driving I played my conversation to the five of them and they all understood what that meant.
Our pack may just have now had a weapon or may just have gotten trouble.
We don't know what was going on and there was no manual with instruction or a text book with what to expect.
The rest of the drive was silent. I was really trying to contact my parents and inform them. My family has a huge mansion at the Hampton where they use as a getaway. It's been in the family for generations, and that is where my parents have been since they got back from their cruise.
It took forty five minutes for me to get to the camp site, I had to calm myself and make sure that I do not cause any tension. I called the Alpha in charge, Alpha Howard and informed him of my arrival and where I was.
In less than ten minutes Alpha Howard came walking towards me and behind him was my sister, the beta's sister who happens to be my sister's best friend and another girl who I had never seen until now. The both girls were walking at each side of her, almost as if they were protecting her.
I shook hands with the Alpha and thanked him for his help and for thinking of my sister's safety first at such a situation. It was really selfless of him.
Both girls lead her to my car and help her in, and then they stayed there saying something to her, to which she just smiled and nodded her head. My beta was acting strange going behind them and waiting behind them as he helped them her in and talked to her.
Soon he pulled the new girl aside and they were talking in hushed voices. I removed my face and paid attention to what Alpha Howard was saying. He handed a folder to me and I opened it and realized it was all the things that my sister was supposed to be learning here.
I thanked him again and shook his hand then headed to the car where my sister sat waiting for me.
I drove her to the hose in silent still wondering what this actually meant for her now. 'She isn't even sixteen yet, so what is it that the goddess had in store for her?' I asked myself. But then again who was I to question the discussion of the goddess.
