Description
Roxy Cruz and Nate Mahoney have been best friends since the age of 7 and were inseparable until Roxy's parents were transferred to Australia.
It's been four years and Roxy's family finally return and move back to their old house which is next door to Nate's family. Roxy has grown up into a beautiful, confident and feisty woman and she hopes that everything will be the same as before with her best friend.
Only she wasn't expecting her best friend to look like a God and definitely didn't expect to grow feelings for him.
Is it worth over stepping the ‘best friend’ boundaries to see where their relationship will go? I guess the question is: Best friends? To be, or not to be?
What I think
First thought that came to my mind when I first read the description was “Best friends to lovers again?”. Yes I am aware that falling in love with your best friend is in fact a cliché. BUT!! I really think you should give this story a chance. The story didn’t have a shallow plot like most of the “I-fell-in-love-with-my-best-friend” stories. Although, the descriptions of the characters’ hotness were kind of over the top, I enjoyed it very much.I loved the flow of the story. I loved it's unpredictability because well, i did not guess that ending. I should warn you though, there were some wtf moments there but It really has an honest to goodness story in it that makes sense.
