I chose to be glad that I'm inside the house, because if I freak out, what can it do? Right? And as I assessed the place I'm in and the outside from looking out the window, I concluded that I'm on Earth. Like the 21st century Earth? The surrounding buildings are almost the same before I died from my previous life, but this time, I did not die. I transmigrated with my own body, unlike the webtoon that I read where the main character stole the body of a "character" in the story.
But the Earth I was in is completely different from before. The place reeks of pungent smell and there's blood everywhere. I was inside a bedroom that's why I don't know the situation outside.
Papasok na sana ako ng banyo, ng may narinig akong kaluskos sa loob. So for precaution, I put a barrier in front of me-wait! I can still use magic here? Nevermind. I slowly open the door and was greeted by a human-looking monster who suddenly become aggressive after it heard me. As a response of shock, I suddenly shot a fire magic at it and immediately it turned to dust.
"Is that a zombie!? May baliw ba na scientist na gustong sakupin ang mundo? Naku naman!" bulalas ko sa aking sarili. Now that I confirmed na iba nga ang Earth na ito sa nakagisnan ko, nagmamadali akong maglinis ng katawan gamit ang aking mahika at magpalit ng damit na kinuha ko mula sa aking spatial bag.

After I changed, I went out with my barrier surrounding myself, of course. I don't plan on dying and fighting at the same time, that's why a barrier is suitable for this kind of mindset of mine.
As I got out of the house, what surprises me is that, there's a mart just around the corner of the street. And I think it's not looted yet because the zombies did not flocked the building. And since that was the case, then I'll be the first looter. I walked toward the mart like I was walking in a park with my pet. The zombies even tried to bite me but they can't because of my barrier.
I walked inside the mart as soon as I arrived. I surveyed the area and zombies are nowhere to be seen, yet there are blood everywhere. But there is one place that an unfortunate person-turned-zombie can hide—the 'staff-only' room. And I was almost near enough of the said door when I heard a low growl coming from the inside.
Why does it seem that they like hiding on such places? It's not like they haven't seen what happens when an apocalypse strike though? They even love a zombie genre.
I opened the door and immediately use a fire shot at it. I cleaned up the place so that the next looter will have it easy and can rest for a while. I took just a little food and other essentials with me before I left the place with my barrier surrounding the building.
