"My mom asked me to call you down for dinner." Taehyung spoke absentmindedly as he opened the door to Jennie's room after a rhythmic two knocks.

Looking up however, he didn't expect to see her doing barre at 8:30 on her one off day.

"Huh?" She asked, pulling out on of her AirPods that she was using for the music.

"Dinner.." he mumbled, watching how she slowly pulled her outstretched leg down from the barre.

"Oh, I thought I told Ms.Linde that I'm not eating tonight?" She asked, turning to face him now as her hands went to pick at the sleeve of her long sleeved leotard.

"What? Why not? You only had like two apples for lunch too.." he reminded as she nodded, looking away.

"I have a recital coming up. Although I graduated from the academy I'm still in training so...." She trailed off, as he frowned.

"Even Rosé's eating. One meal won't kill you." He told her, persistently.

It mainly hit a sore spot after seeing all his sister had to endure by skipping several meals in the name of ballet. He didn't want her doing the same and practically killing herself in the brunt of it.

Maybe that's why he never understood ballet. In every other sport you're encouraged to feed yourself in order to have your muscles function well enough in the games. Ballet, however?

In the two individuals he had seen taking up ballet, they barely ate yet were expected to perform in situations that required the top most performance from their bodies.

The entire nutritional scale of it never made sense.

"I really can't Taehyung. My trainer would kill me. I've already cut back too much recently." She muttered, turning away as her right leg twisted to settle against the back of her other leg.

"Cut back? Jennie, no offence, but I could practically lift you with one hand. Please come down." He insisted as she smiled.

"It's alright Taehyung. Besides, just go back to the normal where you're not supposed to care about me. Remember that time?" She teased, an effort to change the topic.

"Yeah that all changed the night you practically nursed me. Stop diverging." He scowled, clearly not over it.

"Look, I know what my body needs. Please, just trust me." Jennie practically pleaded.

He fixated a long look on her before sighing.

Another thing he knew after being with Roseanne, he never managed to force her into eating. It had to come from the person themselves. And currently, Jennie was nowhere near the state to fight to eat.

With a defeated glance, he simply nodded. It wasn't his place to force her to do anything, how could he?

No matter how much he wanted to, in the end of the day, they didn't have any relationship that warranted his badgering.
