"So you're basically breaking up with me ?" June asked.

"Man, c'mon, it's not like that." Joey responded.

"Then what is it like Joey ?" June asked

"Huh?" She asked again.

"This just explains everything bro, you lying about why you couldn't drop me off, and why you've been being so rude to me as a whole." June said.

Joey lifted his arms up in surrender.

"Look June, maybe it was a bad idea from the get go. I don't know I'm just not feeling it anymore. We was trippin'. I feel like we should just go back to being friends bro." Joey said.

"Friends? Oh you wanna go back to being friends my nigga? After you decided to take my virginity, and run with it and pretend like you had feelings for me ?" June paused as she tried to keep her composure and hold her tears back.

" I'm such a dumb ass on my mama, I believed everything you said and I thought we had something real. " June yelled.

"Nobody forced you to open your fucking legs June. So don't say it like that... I didn't ROB you out of your fucking virginity. YOU wanted it. I would see the way you always fucking looked at me, especially the time when you walked in on me in the shower.  " Joey replied.

"You know what? Fuck you. You fucking weirdo ass nigga." June said as she shoved Joey and started walking away.

"I'm a weirdo ? I'm the weirdo ?" Joey questioned as he followed behind her.

"Says the fucking girl who's been starving herself for weeks now. You're the fucking weirdo for listening to what people say about you and letting it affect you. This ain't the June I know." Joey said.

"I haven't been fucking starving myself you fucking dumb ass, it's called fasting." She replied.

"Well what kind of fucking fasting method is that ? The kind where you don't fucking eat for 5 weeks straight?" Joey said as he got even closer to June's face.

"You're such a fucking disappointment, I see why your family kicked you out. " June responded.

"Maybe if you weren't such a crazy ass bitch... your dad would have kept you in Florida with him. Maybe that's why your mom doesn't like you at all. I get it now." Joey said.

June stood there with her jaw wide open as tears began to run down her face.

"You're dead to me, Joey. " June said as she opened his front door.

"June- I'm sorr-" Joey tried to finish but before he could June was already out the door.

June ran as fast as she could until she made it into her neighborhood and it was now dark. She was out of breath so she started walking to catch it.

She looked at her phone seeing missed calls and texts from Joey but she just kept going. She couldn't believe he said such things to her. She couldn't even look at him the same anymore. After all she told him? After giving him her virginity? This was how he was gonna do her ?

As soon as June made it home she ran into her room and got on her bed and just bursted in tears. She could literally feel her heart aching.

She fell so hard for Joey and gave him her body. She trusted him and now he was basically saying fuck her.

After crying for about two hours June fell asleep. 

She woke up to a notification from Jen asking why she hadn't come to the mall with her. June shot her a text back telling her she'd  explain in the morning on the bus.

The next morning June got in the shower and got dressed for school. She threw her hair into a messy bun and had on a hoodie and some leggings.

She walked out with her backpack and waited on the bus.

Once the bus arrived June got on and sat next to Jen who was eating hot fries.

June explained the entire story of what happened yesterday with Joey.

"And he literally called me a crazy ass bitch. And then he proceeded to say that I was starving myself.. which is sorta true but still..." June said.

"He did not ! " Jen said as her eyes widened.

"Girl...fuck himmm! He's a pussy... it's time to move on. I'm coming to get you after school and we're gonna go shopping.  " Jen said.

"I don't think I can move on, Jen." June said.

"Girl there's better guys out there, I promise.. just trust me on this." Jen replied.

"Fine." June said.

June decided to skip first period do to the fact, on B days she had first period with Joey. She wanted to avoid him at all costs.

June went outside and sat in one of the benches which were directly in front of the school.  She was scrolling on her phone when she saw someone walking towards her.

She looked up seeing Malaki in her vision. She could see that his car was in the parking lot and that he had just arrived to school.

"Fuck is you doin out here, June?" Malaki asked.

"Ion got time for it today Malaki.. move around." June said.

"Mane I'm just tryna talk.. ian even on no funny shit this time. " Malaki said as he sat next to her on the bench.

"What is there to talk about ?" June questioned.

"Why we can't be friends ?" Malaki asked.

"We could have been, but I don't know you're just rude as fuck. " She replied.

"My fault for being an asshole to you. I just wanted to get yo attention....can we try again ?" He asked.

"I guess. Only if you promise not to be an asshole this time. " She said.

"I promise." Malaki replied as the bell rang for second period.

"Lemme walk you to class, June. " Malaki said.

"Ehhhh.... I guess." June replied as they walked towards the doors and went inside.

Malaki walked June to her to class. Hours went by and it was now time for lunch.

June saw Jen and Erica and decided to sit next to them since her and Joey were on bad terms and not speaking.

"Hey girlies !" June said as she sat down and put her backpack on the table.

"Hey." Jen responded

"Hi." Erica responded

"I saw you and Malaki in the hallway today, what's up with that? " Jen asked as she grinned.

"Girlll... nothing. He's just a friend... I guess." June replied

"What do you mean you guess?" Erica said as she laughed.

"It's complicated. " June responded.

They all went silent when they saw Joey walk in the lunchroom.

He wasn't walking alone either. He was walking with his arm around Vanessa's waist.

June felt her heart drop. Was this why he broke up with her ? So that he could get back with his ex, Vanessa ? Did he use her for her body?
