Quite frankly, Scott Smajor and Cleo Zombie were sick and tired of being thrust into death games with their predetermined fates.

Don't get them wrong, they loved the Life Games, but they hated the fact that this series the Watchers had decided everyone's alliances for them, or at least they had tried too but alas, Scott and Cleo were far too stubborn to obey them for even a moment.

Scott, a disgraced Watcher, was gay, no questions about it and yet he was soulbound to a woman and he had a sneaking suspicion that it was no accident or oversight.

Cleo, who had been friendly with the Listeners, had no issue with her soulbound in specific but she hated that they had no choice in the matter.

One day, Scott decided to do something about it and so he approached the crafting table in his base and set some iron and an emerald on it.

It did not take him as long as he thought it would, and about fifteen minutes later, he was walking across the bridge and knocking on Cleo's door.

"Hello Scott! How are you?" Cleo opened the door with a smile.

"Cleo, my chosen soulmate, I have something to ask you," Scott smirked with a cheeky look in his eyes.

"I know that look, what are you planning? Who are we annoying today?" Cleo returned the cheeky look to her partner in crime.

"Neither of us are happy at the Watchers, so let's give them something to be unhappy about. Clebert, Cle, Miss Zombie, Cleopatra, you have too many nicknames," Scott chuckled.

Cleo flicked his shoulder playfully, "That is entirely your fault."

"Cleo Zombie, you are my best friend and I know that no matter what, we will always be platonic because I am very into men but," he dropped to one knee and pulled out an emerald ring, "Will you do me the honour of becoming my platonic wife? Will you marry me?"

Cleo chuckled a little, "You are such a little menace."

"You love me and you know it Clebert."

"Unfortunately I do. Scott Smajor, I will absolutely marry you, especially if it means annoying the Watchers," she brought Scott into their embrace.

Scott returned the hug.

When Cleo pulled back, she posed an all too important question, "You know that Pearl is going to absolutely kill you right? Or as close she can get to killing you?"

"That's her problem, but we've made peace with the fact that we truly are not meant for each other and honestly, I asked her and Martyn if this was okay and neither had a real issue," Scott shrugged.

"That is fair."

"Now do you want the ring?" Scott held it out in his hand.

Cleo placed their hand on top of Scott's, watching as he slid the ring on to her finger, "It's gorgeous! I love it."

"I thought you would, you've always loved green."

"Thank you Skittle."

"No problem Clebert."

Cleo suddenly grabbed at her arm, "Ouch!" They exclaimed as their hearts started to go down.

Scott panicked and threw bread at her, "Eat!"

"Trust Martyn to take damage at a time like this," Cleo rolled her eyes playfully as she snacked on the bread.

InTheLittleWood: Sorry Cleo! Skelly in a cave.

ZombieCleo: No stress Martyn! Stay safe! :)

InTheLittleWood: Will do! :)

Scott shivered a little, suddenly aware of his temperature drop, "Pearl has found her snow bucket."

Cleo wrapped arms around him to try warm him up, "You should have predicted that she'd prank you while you did this."

Scott let out a weak chuckle as he stopped taking damage, "I am surprised she didn't do this earlier."

PearlescentMoon: Haha

Smajor1995: 5am Pearl is mean <:(

PearlescentMoon: You know that I wouldn't actually kill you. Not yet ;)

Smajor1995: Ominous, aren't you?

PearlescentMoon: You know it!

Grian: I am trying to sleep here guys!

Smajor1995: Get out of bed Grian, you have a wedding to attend.

Grian: Excuse me?
