Along the Red Sea
1947
Indy felt the water deepen -
The tunnel widened.
He scrambled swimming, holding Emily -
Head over heels.
Rolling over his shoulder -
He was out of the tunnel - but under the water.
Emily was screaming and clawing, loosing air, sucking in water and silt, terrified and unable to hold her breath.
He slammed the bottom of the chamber, righted himself and pushed off the bottom swimming for the surface, clutching his little girl bringing her to safety.
