Destiny 's P.O.V
I wake up to the sound of my phone vibrating. I was getting a call from my boyfriend Allen.
I answered still half sleep.
"Yes Hun? " I ask conceded as to why he has woken me up . Normally he just waits until I text him first telling him "Good Morning"
"Come to my house now, it's important." He says and hanging up not giving me any time to respond.
I roll out of bed and walk straight to the bathroom.
I grab my purple toothbrush and put my toothpaste on top and begin brushing.
The Silence in my house was weird considering my sister isn't here and my parents are at work. The TV wasn't on thought . Mom always leaves the TV on.
I brush my hair into a messy bun and put on my Hello Kitty house slippers and grab my phone. I walk out of my room and down the hall , down the stairs.
I grab an yogurt parfait out the fridge and a spoon out the drawer.
I grab my house key and walk out the door down the side walk to Allen's house.
He lives right down the street from me.
I began eating my parfait when I notice all of the neighborhood families cars still parked in their driveways . Did anyone go to work ?
When i get to Allen's house before I could knock he pulls me in and quickly shuts the door.
"Have you heard?" He said with a worried look on his face.
"No?" I say confused what is he talking about.
"All of our parents are gone ."
He says.
"Yeah they are all at work ." I say Laughing and sitting down on the couch .
"That's not what I mean! They are all gone as in nowhere to be found !" He says worried.
I look at him shocked .
"Where have they gone ?" I ask.
There was a loud siren.
I held my ears trying to cover them but the sound was too loud . It was coming from outside.
We walk outside to see everyone in their Pajamas.
"What's going on !?"
Soon everyone's phone goes off signaling that we all have gotten a message from an unknown number.
The message read :
Dear Teenagers or Young Adults ,
This is the government sending you this message . We all have taken your parents. They are working for us under ground, they are creating new technology that we will eventually need in the future. You cannot contact them or us. This message will disappear from your cell phones in 2 minutes . Good Luck.
