Jazz Klein's point of view

What's her problem? I know I get stares from girls but hers was different, she looked starstruck and her eyes were completely dilated. Sinusuri niya ako nang masinsinan.

"Jazz." I heard her whisper.

"Know my name?" My brows furrowed and slightly tilted my head as my lips got set in a hard line.

"Jazz! I want some jazz music." Utos ng babae sa katabi nya't inayos nya ang sarili, ang kanyang buhok kahit maayos naman and she cleared her throat.

Jazz music then played in the background that alleviated the cafe's ambience, a tune that matched the vibe of this warm lights.

I thought she knew my name. "I want a hot blend, no sugar." I ordered, from my pocket I took my wallet and opened it, took a thousand bill and when I handed it to her, I was confused why she didn't take the bill and when I looked at her eyes, tulala lang siya.

"H-Ha?" Gugod niya.

"Hm?" I double checked on her at para siyang nangulilang bata, I looked at her nametag and her name was Heart Stealer. God for a second I thought her eyes were Medusa's.

But one thing was for sure, this girl's eyes were so similar to Medusa except she had emerald eyes and Medusa's were black.

"Ms. Heart, I won't repeat myself twice." I'm already exhausted from managing the upcoming Alasteer's 60th anniversary, to occur in a few months prior, and this woman won't just give me my damn coffee.

"A-ano ulit?" She stuttered, I chuckled out of frustration.

Is she playing with me? My head slowly dropped down and I sucked a breath, "Heart, God."

I beg you Heart. Just give a damn coffee.

I forced myself to face Heart again and leaned close to her over the counter, "I. Just. Want—-Coffee." And gave her a very small, annoyed smile.

"Do you understand, Ms. Heart?" I had to double check at napalunok siya. Matipid na pagtango ang ginawa niya at pinindot pindot ang cash register, I felt relieved and straightened my position, finally.

"Wait for your name nalang po."

"Name?"

Napalunok nanaman siya, "I meant coffee! Mag antay ka dun!" At tumalikod siya't umalis sa counter, tiningnan ko yung mga ka-coworker niya at parang sila din ay nagtataka sa kilos ng babae. Siraulo.

Hindi niya manlang tinanggap yung pera ko, despite her being drop-dead gorgeous and a name that matches her mesmerizing face, something's definitely wrong with her.

I pulled over the chair and sat by the window, adoring the serendipity of nightfall and the calmness and solitude it brings out. This cafe looked so much better than it was last year.

Minutes passed I felt a presence walking slowly towards me, humakbang siya na may hawak na food-tray kung saan nakalapag ang aking coffee in a warm cup, meron namang mga ibang waiter so bakit siya yung maghahatid sakin? Papansin ba to?
