Icy fingers gripped my arms in the darkness. The air around me turned black. I felt a cold sensation on my waist. My hair stood on end, a shiver ran down my spine and a lump came to my throat. It was him......
I smile through tears. The cold wind slashed at his face and my tears fell.

"Finally..." I cried. The love that I had cherished, was once again fed with care. The dry love that I had for him.

No, no it should not happen. The urge of me holding him forever brought me to my knees. I saw him disappear in front of my eyes and I could do nothing but stare. A lone tear escaped from my eyes.

"Don't go"

"Will you care to wake up now?" I heard a faint voice. Suddenly, I started hearing voices that in some ways I could relate to. Has the world turned any brighter? Were the Gods satisfied with our sinful deeds? It took me no longer to realise that I was sleeping and I was awake with a heavy jerk.

I watched my surroundings with heavy eyes. I was annoyed. Although it was not a dream where I would get to see my prince charming riding a horse and marching towards me with a wide smile that would be brighter than the Sun.
No, wait—this would sound cliche. I would rather go with the dream that I had now. Would it be alright if I call it a dream?—Okay! It's not even a matter of fact. Why am I even thinking about it?

Am I forgetting something? Ohhh! Holy crap!

Did l mention about my whereabouts? If not then-"Miss Amelia! Do you remember that you are in an office, sleeping in the middle of the working hours? Well, if not, then I think this would help!" Suddenly l was greeted with an angry countenance of a bull—my boss. It indeed helped. No, it did fright me. I was lucky enough to sleep on my Boss's desk.

"So, finally you are back to earth...l guess" exclaimed the Boss, Adrian Jones. The guy, was in his early 20's yet spoke like an old aged gumpy and intolerable man. It would sometimes annoy me but the fact that he could melt with just a sweet please was more than enough. Of course, it was needed for good health. A holiday....Was it too much to ask for? We barely get time to even grab a cup of coffee. His inhuman torture always exhausted us, the employees. The big fat company, "THE JONES COMP. & SONS" was not easy to handle, of course, but we are humans with humanities in different degrees. He should show some mercy and not hang us in the middle with some dusty piles of files.

"Hey! You there" the Boss snapped his fingers. Flinching slightly, I looked at him in horror as if he will burn me alive. I responded "Y-yes"
"You know right, you have to check all the documents by the evening and submit them to me" said the Boss.
"Y-yes Sir! I will be reporting you soon. You can trust me." That's the hardest thing to do anyways.
"Hmm. Freshen up and you may leave"
I bowed and left the cabin.

Now, let us get back to work and not sleep. You have to earn money, Amelia. This is the only way. You can't just let this slide like this, sleeping all day. You did not even leave the Boss's desk to sleep. Such a failure!

And I was back to my desk, Amelia Blue's Desk. Wow! Sounds good.

"Ouch!" This was something bad. The desk is just like me, failure—wait, it was not here before. The last time I saw, it was placed in the right corner. Did it move suddenly? I measured the desk with the pencil that I didn't know I was holding. Yes, I was right. It did move. Why? It should not move. It should not. My god!
