A true Christmas gift

Chapter 1: sisters separated

It was December 21 Christmas is almost here. There was a loving family the Wilsons. Maya Wilson is a kind hearted 8 year old girl who loves Christmas so much that she and her sister Sarah Wilson celebrate it every year. Maya and Sarah were very close to each other. Every year there mother Katie Wilson always makes her amazing gingerbread cookies. And there father Peter Wilson always plays with his daughters in the snow. One day they were decorating there Christmas tree. Maya: which ornament should we pick Sarah the gingerbread man or the snowman? Sarah: um... pick the gingerbread man! Maya: well I pick the snowman why do you pick the gingerbread man? Sarah: because gingerbread tastes good. Maya: okay will pick the gingerbread man. Then Maya asked her mom and dad a question. Maya: hey mom dad. Katie: yes sweetie? Maya: will we always be together and stay as a family? Peter: yeah why would you say that? Maya: I'm just too afraid that you'll separate and I'll never see Sarah again. Peter: don't say that. Katie: we'll always be a family. Maya: okay. Everything was perfect until one night it was Christmas Eve. Maya and Sarah were getting ready for bed. Maya: *yawns* I'm so tired. Sarah: me too. But then they heard yelling from mom and dad's room. Sarah: what's that noise? Maya: I don't know let's go check it out. They tip toe to mom and dad's room they hid in the closet too hear them. Katie: HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME! I THOUGHT YOU LOVE ME! Peter: SHUT UP LADY THE KIDS ARE SLEEPING YOU DUMBASS! Katie: NO DON'T TELL ME TO SHUT UP! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU CHEATED ON ME! Peter: YEAH BECAUSE YOUR NOT MY TIPE AND BESIDES I USED YOU FOR MONEY! Katie was shocked when she heard those words. Mom: YOU HORRIBLE MAN!! THATS IT! IM GETTING A DIVORCE TOMORROW! AND HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT WE HAVE KIDS!! Peter: I DON'T CARE ABOUT THOSE GOD DAMN KIDS YOU BITCH!! Maya and Sarah were so shocked when they heard those words. They came out of the closet in shock. Sarah: *crying* papa doesn't care about us. Peter: SHUT THE HELL UP YOU STUPID KID! Katie: DON'T SAY THAT TO HER! And for the first time Maya yelled. Maya: stop!! I want everyone to calm down please! Then everyone calm down and went back to bed but the dad went to the lady he was in love with. The lady's name was Sasha Carson. Sasha Carson is a rich lady and a beautiful woman. She's selfish and rude. Sasha and Peter had a crush on each other since high school before Peter met Katie. It was Christmas morning but Maya and Sarah were too sad to open there presents. Katie and Peter signed the divorce papers and they were sent to court. The judge said Katie will take full custody of Maya and Peter will take full custody of Sarah. Maya: what!? No please don't take me away from Sarah please!! Sarah: no!! Please don't take my sister away! But they were separated and they never see each other again. 7 years later Maya is 18 years old now and she went to college to become a doctor. Her mom died from an illness and she was sad. She was mostly quiet and go's to clubs and comes home drunk. Sarah is 15 now. She goes to high school. She doesn't talk much she never smiled and she gets made fun of and she would often put her headphones on. Ever since Maya and Sarah were separated they both never celebrated Christmas again.
