Everyone has their own unique song and ability, and some abilities are stronger than others.
There are 5 rankings to show how strong an ability is
level 1 - These abilities are very common and aren't very good for fighting unless you train enough. Only then you can be classified from a level 1 rank to a level 2 rank
Level 2 - These abilities are also very common, but are much stronger than people with level 1 abilities. Most people are born with this rank.
Level 3 - This rank is where abilities start to be classified as dangerous. Most people with this rank are people who had the level 2 rank but trained enough to be put into the level 3 rank. Even though it is very uncommon, people can be born with this rank.
Level 4 - With this rank people who obtain or are born with it are always under serious super vision in order to protect others. People with this rank normally would be found wearing ability suppressors. This is the highest rank you can get as an average person, only people who are born with level 3 can obtain this rank if they were not born with it.
Level 5 - Only organizations have this rank, it's the most powerful rank and very few people have it.
Some people prefer to focus on their ability and become stronger while others focus on their song and try to harmonize with one another in order to find their one true love.
Everyone's song is normally used in battle to help them focus and become stronger, kind of like a power-up. There is a second use for it though, when your emotional connection is strong enough with someone you end up harmonizing and creating a brand new song. There are many different ways of harmonizing. The easiest way is using your ability with one another, but the most common way is from simply having a strong bonding moment with each other.
It doesn't matter what path you choose though, some times people choose not to harmonize with anyone and work themselves to be the strongest.
Sometimes people choose the more calming route and live a peaceful life with their lovers.
