Day 3 of living with ASL

No one's POV

"(Y/N), (Y/N), helloooo, earth to (Y/N)??"
Luffy repeated, jumping on the mattress.
After not being able to wake her up after continuously calling her name, Luffy crouches down and pinches her cheek. Not hard though, just enough to make her feel it.

*groans*

"H-Huh, who's there..?"
(Y/N) mumbles in a raspy, tired voice.
After adjusting to her surroundings, she shrieks in terror from the sudden sight of Luffy standing over her, making Sabo and Ace come into the room.

"(Y/N)?? What's wrong? We heard you scream!"
Sabo asks, worried, crouching down next to her.

"You moron, don't scare me like that!!"
(Y/N) screams, kicking Luffy down.
"I'm fine, Sabo, Luffy just scared me, that's all."

"OWWY, (Y/N)!! It was an accident, I'm sorry!"

"God, she just got here and you're already causing trouble, Luffy??"
Ace says in an irritated tone.

"I said it was an accident!!"
Sitting up, (Y/N) takes a deep breath before a small smile appears on her face.

"Sorry for kicking you, good morning, Luffy!"
(Y/N) said, holding out her arms.

"(Y/N)!! Ace is such a meanie, can you beat him up for me??"
Luffy dramatically whines before running up, hugging her tightly.

"Ace!! Don't yell at him like that! He's just a baby, and he said it was an accident!"

(Y/N) glared at Ace before leaving the room, carrying Luffy, going towards the kitchen/diner room, for breakfast.
As she leaves, he glares back.

"Seriously!? He is not a baby!"

Looking at (Y/N) from the back, he can see Luffy's face resting on her shoulder.
He smirks at Ace, knowing he easily got his way.

"That little-!"
Ace grumbled.

"Just leave it, Ace, (Y/N) will always believe his antics, no matter how obvious that it is manipulation to us.."
Sabo sighed, crossing his arms.

Ace scoffs before heading to the diner room too.
Along with Sabo.

After breakfast

Tired but hungry for adventure, the troubled four go towards their treehouse.
Once they get there, one by one, all of them start climbing up the rope - ladder.

Up in the treehouse, they sit in a circle.
Talking about something they've wanted to talk about for a little bit.

"(Y/N), have you ever fought an animal of any kind before, or just fought ever?"
Sabo asked, talking with his hands from time to time.

"U-Uh, no, never before.."

"Well that's okay, (Y/N)! I'll protect you!"
Luffy yelled, going to sit next to her, huge smile on his face.

"Please, you're not even strong enough to protect yourself let alone (Y/N)!"
Ace spat, squinting his eyes.

"Shut up, yes I can!"

"Um no, you can't!"

With that going on, Sabo sighs, going to sit next to (Y/N) himself.
He smiles with reassurance.

"What Luffy was trying to say was that WE will protect you and maybe even train you just in case you are alone, but even then we won't leave you alone."

(Y/N) warmly smiles back, nodding.

"I've always wanted to learn how to fight, cool!"

Sabo chuckles from that comment, gently and slowly rubbing her shoulder.
(Y/N)'s smile turns into a disappointed frown as she turns to Luffy and Ace, who are in fact still arguing.
She shakes her head, but then an idea pops into her head.

"Tag! You're it, Sabo!"
(Y/N) says before running towards the rope ladder.

"H-Huh? Hey, no fair! You didn't warn me!"
Sabo whines playfully, running after her.

After a few seconds, this was noticed by Ace and Luffy, making them want to join.
Eventually, all three of them were chasing after (Y/N).

"Give it up, you guys are never gonna catch me!"
(Y/N) says, in a teasing tone, making a funny face to them.

"Bring it on! Haha!"

"You're dead!"

"I'm gonna get you!"

Running around the forest, looking to the side, (Y/N) notices a tall tree she could hide behind.
So with her quick movements, the boys a few feet away from her, she jumps behind the tree, perfectly dismissing the boys, turning them confused.

"Huh, (Y/N)? Where'd you go?"
Sabo says, stopping in his tracks, making Ace and Luffy run into him, falling to the ground.

"What the hell, Sabo??"
Ace grunts, standing up once more.

"Yeah, what was that for???"
Luffy yells, in an irritated tone, rubbing his head before slowly standing up.

"(Y/N)...disappeared, she literally vanished."
Sabo mumbles, scratching his head, looking around confusingly.

"Wow, you're right, where'd she go?"

"(Y/N)??!"

Hearing the boys becoming confused, (Y/N) giggles before running off towards another direction but unfortunately her footsteps were too loud against the grass, and Sabo heard it.

"Guys! You hear that, she's over here!"
Sabo says, a proud grin now on his face.

Meanwhile, (Y/N) was feeling proud of her for easily confusing the boys and getting away.
Suddenly, a sound makes her stop running. It sounded like a growl of some sort. It was a distant sound, but it still seemed near.
Looking around, (Y/N) couldn't put her finger on what exactly was making the noise.

Standing there, she notices the growls get closer and more frequent like it sensed that she was there. All of a sudden, the sound of heavy footsteps rang through her ear drums.
Then, it hit her. She started to recognize the sounds as...an animal, a big one.
A bear...

In her thoughts, a black bear jumps out from the far end of a group of trees, charging straight towards her direction. (Y/N) couldn't move, she was frozen in place, afraid.

"(Y/N), WATCH OUT!"
Someone yelled as they pushed her out of the way, taking the bear impact instead.
It was Ace and the bear was on top of him.
(Y/N) shocked and scared, screamed his name.

"ACE! NO!"

Ace was desperately trying to fight off the bear with his weapon, eventually hitting it enough for it to get off of him but it charged again, forcing Ace to keep fighting it.

"(Y/N)! Oh no, are you okay??"
Luffy yells, running to her side.

"A-Ace! I have to save him!"

"No! You can't! It's okay, Ace's got it, he's gonna be okay!"

At that moment, Sabo goes to Ace, starting to fight with him.
Tears threaten to fall from (Y/N)'s eyes as Luffy repeatedly keeps pulling her hand, trying to help her get out of their way.

The bear roars in anger as Sabo keeps hitting it with his pipe, Ace doing the same.
Without a warning, the bear suddenly charges towards them, jumping on top of them.
The bear being too close and too heavy, Sabo and Ace to no avail, tried to escape the bear's weight.
It roars again before roughly slicing both of their stomachs.

That released something out of (Y/N).

"NOO!"

And she raised her hands in the direction of the bear's head, making it suddenly explode into bits. The body remained; it dropped to the ground with a thud.
Sabo and Ace grunted in pain, holding their stomachs, looking at the now headless, dead bear in front of them with.

Luffy behind her, fell to the floor, panting in fear.
And (Y/N) fell to the ground as well, her vision going black before passing out.
