It was now Saturday, and June was at Joey's apartment watching a movie with him.

"I cant believe that's actually based on a true story. " June said.

"I know right... shit is fucked up. " Joey replied.

Joey's phone rang and he stood up.

"Hold up." He said as he walked out the room answering the call.

June continued to watch the movie.

A few minutes later Joey came back in the room.

"June, you gotta dip. My girl bout to pull up in 30 minutes. " He said.

"What ?" June asked.

"You gotta go... if she see you here she's gonna jump to conclusions and trip. I can't have that shit happening. " He said.

"Wait, so you're kicking me out ? Just because Vanessa wants to come over ? Why couldn't you just tell her you were busy?" June asked.

"Man, I don't know you gotta leave though. " He said.

"What about the movie ?" June asked.

"Man, we can watch that shit some other time. " Joey responded.

"So you really picking Vanessa over me right now ?" She asked.

"She's my girl...what the fuck do you mean ?" He responded.

"Say less." June replied as she headed towards the door.

"Why you trippin?" Joey asked.

"I'm not, I understand." June said as she left and closed the door behind her.

Luckily June's mom wasn't too far away and was able to drop her back home.

June was a little upset that Joey was choosing Vanessa over her but she expected that. He was going to choose Vanessa everytime. He obviously cared more about Vanessa than
her and she began to accept it.

June was scrolling on her phone when she saw the notification of Malaki texting her. He was coming to get her.

After about 45 minutes he knocked on June's door.

June went downstairs and opened the door stepping out.

"I was startin to think you changed yo mind." Malaki said.

"Nah... Why would I?" June asked.

"Shit ion kno. " Malaki answered as they both got in his car.

"Nah, I still wanna chill with yo big head ass." June said as she pushed Malaki's head.

"Yo head big as lord, yeen got no room to talk June." Malaki said laughing.

"Stop fucking playing with me, Mal." June replied.

"Shut up. " He said.

"Your ass is so mean." June said.

"You know I be playing with yo ass. " Malaki said.

June and Malaki talked for a long while until they eventually reached his house.

They both got out the car and went inside his house and went upstairs to Malaki's room.

June jumped on Malaki's bed and got under the covers.

"Don't be jumpin on my shii." Malaki said as he got in on the other side.

"Boy, shut up." June said.

"Nah, unless you bouta make me." He said.

"Whatever." June replied.
