Articulate Kaito: So you're not working during the holiday season, are you?
Technical Expert: Nope. I'm free until like, Wednesday.
Articulate Kaito: That's only 4 days.
Technical Expert: At least I'll be spending the holidays with you. And I get to be your Christmas Eve date for the dance.
Articulate Kaito: Oh yeah, there's a dance tomorrow! You want to know my history with Lord Otome himself?
Technical Expert: Sure.
Articulate Kaito: My friends and I were at a nightclub together. Apparently, it's the same nightclub that one of his masters works at. I offered to buy a drink for Lord Otome.
Technical Expert: And did you?
Articulate Kaito: Yep. But his date was eyeing me like a hawk the entire time. I guess he's one of the overprotective masters that Lord Otome has.
Technical Expert: Huh.
Articulate Kaito: Oh, by the way, happy birthday.
Technical Expert: Glad you remembered. And thank you. I'm turning 24. One more year and then I'll be a quarter of a century old.
Articulate Kaito: Nice.
And so, Alistair and Martie kept talking for a few more minutes until they both had to leave.
