Chapter 26

Cain's pov

I paced back and forth in my office. Tyson was angry and he didnt say a word to me. My pack wants their luna. They are miserable and Im restless. "Cain calm down. We will find her." Aria said.

After Elara was taken, we rushed back to blood cove and checked everywhere. We even found the secret rooms and everything but no sign of them anywhere. Like they just disappeared. The were no traces of them anywhere.

"How the fuck are we supposed to find them if we have no leads? Cole was useless, we couldnt find Elara or any other scent and they left no tracks!" I yelled at Aria in frustration. My feet started to get cold and look to see it was frozen.

"Dont yell at me." She said. It was her, it was her tiger, Opal. She unfroze my feet and I went back to pacing. Bella tried to calm me down but I growled the minute she got close.

"Im sorry." I said. I sat on the sofa and took a deep breath.

"We have teams sesrching everywhere. The hunters agreed to look near the town and we asked other packs to keep a look out. We will find her." Jaxon tried to reassure me.

"I know but Im sitting here doing nothin when I should be looking for her." I said. Aria's phone dinged and she smiled. How can she smile?

"Ill be right back." She said. She stood up and walked out.

My mother sat next to me and tried to comfort me. "Elara is strong. She wont let them touch her and they are in trouble if Shuri is in control." My mom said. That made me smile a little. Shuri was more srubborn than me.

Aria walked back in with a couple behind them. Danté stood up and greeted them. The woman looked like Aria, only with black hair and brown eyes. "Cain this is my parents. Amanda and Samual." Aria introduced and I shook their hands.

"Its nice to meet you." I said.

"Same to you. Aria called us to help." Samual said. I looked at Aria and waited for her to explain.

"My dad was raised by humans. His father was in the army so his sense somehow became strknger than a normal tiger. He is also good and fiding people. My mom was a rogue and a great tracker. She can find wolves even without their wolf scent. She follows their human scent." Aria explained.

I looked at them and had a litlle hope. Aria seemed so sure but I wasnt. "Dont worry Cain. We will find her." Amanda said. We all went outside and they shifted. Samual was bigger than Aria and Amanda was a grey wolf. Thats rare.

"Aria, what are we looking for?" Samual asked. His vouce was deeper in his tiger form.

"Her human scent smells of honey and fire. If nkt try and find a panther's scent. They probably hid underground or somehwere we wouldnt dare go or..." Aria stopped and we all looked at her. Her parents turned around and looked at her.

"Aria. What is it?" Danté asked.

"Vampire territory." Was all she said.

"Of course. We teamed up with hunters. They teamed up with vampires." Danté said. Aria's parents shifted back and I turned to Jaxon.

"Tell everyone to investigate Vampire territory. Try and get in undetected. The only reason we wouldn't go there is for Aria's safety." I said. Jaxon ran off and we headed back inside and had to wait. Im going to kill Luke.

Elara's pov

I opened my eyes and the room was dark. I think. I could see where everything was but it didnt seem like there was any lights. I must have nightvision. I tried to get up but somerhing held me down. I looked to see I was chained to a table. Oh no. No. No. No! NO!

I fought to break free from the chains but nothing was working. I tried to lift myself up but there was a strap around my chest. I screamed in frustration. The smell of vampires, blood and other wolves hit my nose. Where the hell am I? Shuri. Are you there? No answer.

I held back the tears as the memories of what happened came rushing back. Bella was stabbed. The pack. Are they okay? I thought to myself. I tried to break myself free again. I pulled and tried forcing myself up but it was hopeless. The door opened and a light was switched on. A table was rolled in and I saw him.

"Hello girl. Im so glad your okay." He said. He petted my head and I growled. "Feisty. I geuss my hard work went to waist. Time for plan B." He said.

"Whats plan B?" I asked. A doctor walked in and he wore a mask. I looked to the table that was brought in and saw blades, needles, everything you need for a surgery. I tried to break free again but Luke held me down.

"Dont worry. Dr, Henley will take good care of you." He said. He took a sample of my blood then walked out. What the fuck? The dr walked back in and pulled out a syringe. It had this black liquid in it. He went closer to make neck and I growled and tried to bite him. My fangs popped out when I tried to bite him.

He moved back and Luke grabbed my face. I growled as he held my head. "Let go!" I growled. I tried to stop them but I was to late. He injected the black liquid and my body went numb. My mind was fuzzy. What was happening?

"Elara! Whatever you do keep fighting!" Shuri yeld then she went quiet. I couldnt feel her anymore. I couldnt sense her. She was gone.

"That takes care of the cat. Now we will get you back to normal tomorrow." Luke said and walked out with the doctor. My head was spinning and everything became fuzzy. I tried to stay awake but I black out.
