A𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨, Adeline and her family came to Alaska and Edward went his own way. She felt even more alone. Day after day she watched others cuddle and be with their mates, and she just hoped that she would find someone herself. But after seeing where it went with Edward, Adeline just wanted to be alone.
The Denali lived near the Cullens and Adeline spent a lot of time with Kate, she was her favorite cousin. They needed something to do, so they started a new hobby together, skiing.
"You've got to be kidding me." Adeline said looking at Kate while putting on her skiing gear. "Come on now, this is going to be fun." Kate said looking at her cousin and let out a giggle.
"Do you want to try skiing or snowboarding?" The young man asked walking towards the two and Adeline let out a grin towards Kate. "I want to try the board." She said smiling with a wink at the boy, who smiled back shyly, a blush rising to his cheeks.
"Flirting already I see?" Kate grinned and Adeline rolled her eyes. "I can't help it that people find me attractive." She replied watching the young boy walk back with a snowboard in hand looking at the two, more so Adeline.
The two had finally made it to the hill and Adeline was setting up the board, soon looking at the blond next to her, who was putting her glasses on and giving a thumbs up. "Are we ready?" Kate asked and Adeline could see a big smile on her face through the helmet.
"Luckily we're immortal so this is easy." Adeline grinned and Kate counted to three and they started down the hill. Adeline let out a giggle as they made their way down the hill perfectly, watching as other people stared at their flawless movements. "Are we attracting too much attention?" Kate said wriggling next to the brown haired Cullen who laughed out loud.
"They are jealous of our skills." She replied and the two both laughed out loud.
After a nice skiing excursion, they returned to the Cullens who were sitting quietly in the cabin. Rosalie was playing chess with Jasper by the table, while Carlisle was frowning on the couch looking thoughtful.
Denali and Cullen looked at each other in confusion and walked to the center of the room.
"Why is everyone so quiet, what has happened now?" Adeline asked walking over to the couch while Kate leaned against the door looking at the Cullens.
Adeline quickly turned her head as Esme, Alice and Emmett walked from the kitchen to the room and Alice's expression was concerned. "I saw a vision of Bella, she jumped off a cliff. I can't see her future anymore." Alice spoke and Adeline couldn't help but roll her eyes.

After much arguing and a long car ride, Alice and Adeline arrived in Forks. Alice parked in front of Swan's house and Adeline watched the black haired pixie walk out of the car towards the front door.
She knocked on the door, listening to see if anyone was home, at the same time Adeline got out of the car, high heels clicking towards the pavement and Alice turned around. "Couldn't you put on anything but high heels, I'll try to listen." Alice spoke watching her brown haired sister stop in front of her. "You wanted me along." Adeline pointed and Alice opened the front door, stepping inside with Adeline following.
"What we do now?" Adeline asked and Alice stared frozen, trying to see if Bella made it.
They finally heard footsteps and the door opened to reveal Bella. "Alice!" Bella exclaimed and hugged her. She looked at two Cullen in wonder. "What are you doing here?" She asked and Adeline raised and eyebrow.
"Should I ask what did you do?" She said, glancing at her. Bella looked at Alice and she sighed leading Bella to the couch. "I saw you jump off a cliff! And I didn't see your future again!" Alice exclaimed.
"I'm going to wait in the car." Adeline told looking at Alice and she nodded.
Stepping out of the house, Adeline saw an angry Jacob walking past, scrunching his nose and Adeline couldn't help but let out a chuckle, holding back at the comment, she continued towards the car, leaning back at the same time listening to the conversation that was going on inside.
She relaxed her shoulders but soon the next words Alice said made her freeze. Turning her head, she saw her adopted sister walking out the door towards the car. Alice let out a deep sigh, sitting next to her sister and looking at her. "You must have heard that Edward is in Italy." She said, pressing her lips together.
Before she could say anything, they both watched as Bella stormed out, an angry Jacob in tow. "Oh dear." Adeline grumbled aloud as Bella got into the car.
Jacob poked his head in through the driver's window and begged Bella to stay. "Please Bella, I'm begging." Jacob whined and Bella stared at him. "Jake, I have to.."
"You don't, You could stay here with me." Jacob said and Alice started the engine.
"Please Bella."
"I'm sorry Jacob." Bella said and nodded to Alice who closed the window and finally hit the gas pedal, speeding towards the airport.

After finally arriving at the airport and boarding the plane. Adeline sat in the aisle seat and Alice in the middle. Bella was nervous and was biting her nails and swinging her leg back and forth. "Can you stop it?" Adeline said annoyed and Alice glanced at her.
"Ade." She said and Adeline let out a loud sigh. "No, without her we wouldn't be here." She cleared her mouth and Alice turned to look ahead in silence.
"Rosalie was right from the start bringing a human into the family is painful and I swear if something happens to my brother..." She started to say but Alice cut her off.
"Please? Let's focus on this plane ride now." Alice put a hand on her leg and Adeline looked Bella hard in the eyes.
After a few hours Bella finally fell asleep and Alice glanced at the brown haired human before turning her gaze to Adeline who kept her eyes closed. "You stare." Adeline muttered without opening her eyes and Alice let out a small sigh.
What is it now?" Adeline opened her eyes and looked into Alice's honey colored eyes that looked tired and worried.
"His thoughts and actions change all the time, I didn't want to bring her but she's the only one Edward doesn't see coming." Alice explained and they both glanced worriedly at the sleeping Bella.
"I just hope Edward doesn't do anything stupid." Adeline muttered aloud and turned her gaze back forward.
