"don't worry mom, I made this decision so I'm ready to face the consequences" I said as I spoke to my mom on the phone "just be careful Okay?, you're our only child and we love you, we want absolutely nothing bad to happen to you, okay?" mom said for the hundredth time "okay mum, you've told me this all my life" I said dramatically rolling my eyes"okay, but stay safe "mom said and hung up. I sighed and facepalmed remembering my conversation with mom earlier.
The plane seemed to be going at a really slow pace and I felt very irritated, all I wanted to do was get to my apartment in Korea, have a nice bath and sleep like a baby. But I'm gonna have to wait because the plane's too slow. But... In the meantime, let me tell you about my self.... (-:
Hello, I'm park soyoung, I'm 19 years old, I was born on the 9th of March and I'm an only child of my parents, I'm a proud virgin waiting for the right love. My high school was horrible but I still somehow managed to come out with good grades, even my teachers that gave up on me were shocked to see I passed my exams. Anyway, I'm korean American, I've never had a boyfriend, I hate baked beans and being woken up. My favourite foods are kimchi fried rice, japchae, samgyeospal and spaghetti bolognese, my favourite colours are white and black and I love music, scary stuff, hate guys who think they're better than girls. My dream career is to be a kpop idol, just like my cousin IU.
The plane has finally landed, Thank God, I quickly disembarked from the aircraft, got my luggage and left the airport. I hauled a taxi and got in, the pace at which the taxi moved was really slow, like everything in Korea is slow and yet they say it's a fast paced country. LIARS,!!.

The taxi finally pulled up at my apartment after what felt like years, I got off and payed him before heading go the door to unlock it. Thank goodness I was given the keys to this apartment earlier or else I would have to sleep on the cold stairs.
I unlocked the door, entered then locked again. The house was nice, like I couldn't afford better. I went to my room and showered then got changed, afterwards, I crashed onto my bed. I'll unpank tomorrow 'let me message mum' I thought then took out my phone only to see a message from IU.
IU:
hey bitch, I heard you're in Korea, that true.?.
Me:
Yes, idiot.
IU:
What'd you call me?
Me:
Nothimg :-)
IU:
Yay!! Finally my cousin is in the same country I am
Me:
*smiles*I'll talk to you later, gotta let mom know I've arrived or she'll be all worried and dramatic 😂
IU :
We all know how that's gonna end. So bye.
I looked for mum's contact and messaged her.

Hey mom, I've arrived in Korea 😊

He's fine, he really misses you so much already.
Me:
yeah of course he does, I'm his number one and only daughter *flips hair*any way, bye mum, I'll talk to you tomorrow.

After messaging mom, I plugged my phone and fell asleep. I at least tried to fall asleep but, I couldn't stop thinking about what I was going to do in Korea [as in... A job]
