CHAPTER 34 NO CHOICE PART 1

Darren POV: As I close the portal and see that I'm in the secret room, I look behind me and see my brothers, "Where are the kids?" I ask, "Still asleep, Alice and our wives are  watching them and none of them are happy with what we've done," West says, I didn't imagine they would be, especially Alice, she's begun to see Daniel as a brother, when we told her what we did, taking the children, she was beyond angry, but it needs to be done.

I could see the pain on Daniels face, and I will hate myself forever but this needs to be done, for our families sake.

My brother chase pats my shoulder, "It's ok, everything will work out, and once Dad is free and Daniel swears his loyalty the kids will be returned safe and sound." He said with determination, I knew we were just acting on Dad's orders but I still hated myself,

Just then Dad appeared through the mirror, "My son's, it's almost time and everything is going off without a hitch. Are the children here?" He asks, "Yes father, they're in their own rooms and still sleeping, and I've told Daniel that once you've been freed and as long as he swears loyalty to you they'll be returned." I said a little glumly, "Excellent, but don't look so defeated Darren,

We will take good care of the children, and this was the best course of action." My father said, just then west burst in, "We got a problem, Tyron and Daniel are here, and they're absolutely pissed," We stare at each other then look at our dad through the mirror, "Go deal with them, I want to see this gem dragon and my cousin's child." He said excitedly,

We leave the room and head into the palace, we instantly feel the cold, I exhale and see my own breath, but the strange thing is it's still summer, just then I sense a presence behind us and I moved West out of the way just before Tyron had put his hand through his chest, his eyes were glowing dark green and he growled lowly,

"Tyron hold on one second, please just let us explain!" I tried to reason with him, "You brainwash me, kidnap my nieces and nephews, and you expect me to listen to you?" He chuckles darkly, "Oh and it's not me you need to be worried about, look behind you." He said and that's when I felt the chilling presence of an almost godlike mystical energy, I turned around so fast and see down the hall the pure enraged face of Daniel, my brothers look as well and the color absolutely drains from their face.

"Daniel wait let me explain!" I try to reason but just then with one finger he releases a burst of mystical energy, we dodge and jumped out of the way, when the dust settles Tyron, was down the hall with Daniel, "Find the kids." He said to Tyron, I couldn't let them do that, our plan revolved around the kids, "Even if you find them you won't be able to take them out of the castle grounds, we placed a spell, that they can't leave the grounds, it'll cause them unimaginable pain if they leave the grounds before the two weeks are up." The furry and anger on Daniel's face made me shiver in fear, "You placed a curse on my children?!" He shouts, this was a bluff of course, but they didn't know that,

"If you comply with us and both swear your loyalty to us and our father you can have them back when the two weeks are up." I said with determination, just then they looked at each other and Daniel began tearing up, and feel to the floor crying.

It killed me but I had no choice in the matter.
