Unexpected

Chapter 1: Woman and Beast?

********** Sam's POV *********

Today was just another normal day at Jurassic World, my job was amazing and is so much fun! I've loved dinosaurs all my life and now I get to work and train with them!

I'm a trainer for all types of dinosaurs, I was never really a signed with a specific species. But if I got to choose one dinosaur it probably be the raptors. There was already a trainer assigned to them so I would be a sub if he was absent or not on time for the job.

My favorite was Blue out of them, I love them all but I had the closest relationship with Blue. People say that they obey and listen to my commands easier. They thought it was strange for them to like me more than the man who was assigned to them because he's known them since they were born and I knew them when they were almost fully grown.

We never exactly met yet because we had our jobs to take care of and I would take over his job when he wasn't there. I was surprised that we stills haven't bumped into each other yet, but I would definitely would like to.

The park was closed and I figured out that I need to practice my training. I had the craziest idea to try to train Tyrannosaurus rex so I decided to head to its enclosure. 'But I had a feeling that it was not going to work.'

I had keys to all the enclosures when it was closed so that I can check on them. I went to a special spot that only workers can go to go look for her. I opened the window and peaked my head through. I couldn't see her!

I was wondering how I could not spot her!? She's huge! I take another step onto the railing... And I leaned over a bit to far to then slip out into the enclosure.

"Ohh no..." I said while laying on the ground looking everywhere for her.

A few seconds later I heard really loud thumps coming straight to me. I knew she was coming so I stood still so that she would not find and eat me.

She came right up to me and sniffed me...

I kept in my screams so that I don't startle her.. I slowly stood up which caught her attention, that I was alive and she could easily eat me in one bite.

I stared into her eyes to show that I'm not going to hurt her and she should trust me.

That is one thing you want to have with these animals...trust.

********** Owen's POV **********

The park finally closed. I finished up my work with the raptors and now I have to go walk around to check some of the other enclosures to make sure it secure and safe for the next day.

I finished checking all of the enclosures except my last one the Tyrannosaurus rex. That one I chose it to be last because since it was such a huge cage it will take me longer to check the security.

As I headed to the walk through that was glass to see the trex, I heard a girls voice faintly in there...

I headed in to check it out.

********** Sam's POV **********

She started to calm down which was quite surprising, because she would usually eat anything that is out in here.

She put her head close to me so show that she wasn't going to hurt me and that she trusts me.

I took the chance and slowly put my hand on her nose/head and gently rubbed it. She was quite enjoying it because she probably hasn't had any attention like this before.

But I don't think she would do this to anyone except me.

I started to really like her.. I could feel this great connection between us.
