Power Cut; Chapter 15

Pacifica's POV

"Shoot my flashlight broke" the person said just as I turned around

"Mabel is that you" I asked the person

"There!" the person said as their flashlight turned on and pointed right to my face

"Ow!" I fell backwards then realising behind me were the stairs

in my mind I was panicking

seconds felt like my last

I was ready to take my last breaths

this is it

and when they ask for my death I'll say my neighbours stairs

until...

I felt a warm pair of hands catch onto mine and help pull me up

"Dipper?" I said with shock

"Yeah I found A spare flashlight and headed upstairs to look for some more

"Be careful you couldve hurt yourself, hey how about you borrow my flashlight?" he asked me

"but then you won't have one" I said

of course idiot

he wouldn't have a flashlight if you take his

"Why don't you just follow me and see where the rest are I think there's two more...also Where's Mabel?" he said

"I don't know..she headed downstairs surprised she didn't hurt herself" I said

"yeah..now follow me" Dipper said

we headed to other rooms in the house and by that time I had dried of so I wasn't cold anymore but that's besides the point.

until I felt something licking my leg

"eww what the heck is lacking my leg" I said

"probably waddles" Dipper said back

"EWW GET THAT ANIMAL TO STOP LICKING ME!" I said with anger

"wow I thought you left that Pacifica back in Gravity falls" Dipper said

"shut up and make it stop licking me" I said back

"ok ok" Dipper said before grabbing waddles and making me hold the flashlight

"thanks" I said

we headed into a room and the door shut on us

again

"Mabel is this some kind of joke?" I shouted out but I don't think it was since the house was still dark

"probably the air from the window made the door shut" Dipper said

Great.

Me, Dipper and a pig

kinda wish the pig had magic powers by now

anyways

the pitch black and had an eerie vibe to it cause their was no sound except from the rain outside

"so now that we're alone together there's aquestion I've been meaning to ask you?" Dipper said

I felt him come closer to me

"Yes?" I said with a shaky voice

he flashed the flashlight to my feet when he was infront of me

"do you...?" he said

he then moved the flashlight upwards and angled in near my face so my face was lit up but not burning

"is the flashlight making you burn..your face is red Pacifica" he said

I covered my cheeks which were not a burning red but a blushing red

"uh no might be a" I said

*BANG*

then suddenly there was a loud bang

"Okay everyone that was just the power going out again-" Their Mom said from downstairs

"It was never on!" their Dad said back

"Anyways just stay where you are-"

"Are we going to die!?" Mabel said from downstairs

"No just stay where you are...this might take all night to fix" Their Mom said

I was scared but I couldn't show Dipper that I was scared but I think he could tell

"Pacifica.." Dipper said before his flashlight turned off

I could hear the batteries rolling around in the flashlight but it was already broken

Suddenly more rain and thunder came down until
I got too scared

"Pacifica it's fine calm down its just a bit of rain" Dipper said

I got scared and

*POWER TURNS ON*

"OK everyone I think the powers fine for now" Their Mom said from downstairs

"Few....umm Pacifica" Dipper said

I opened my eyes to see my arms wrapped around dipper's waist...and his arms wrapped around my waist

"I'm so sorry I thought.." I said with embarrassment

"Hey its fine I kinda liked it" he said back

"ooh someone's getting romance-" Mabel said as she opened the door

"uuh it isn't what it looks like" I said

"don't worry you can tell me what it looks like when u glue the picture in my scrapbook" she said

oh great.
