Holiday's list:
Christian: Christmas.
Cormac: St. Patrick's day.
Liberty: Fourth of July.
Valera: Valentine's Day.
Luke: Easter.
Aliza: April fools day.
Wena: Halloween (the scary part).Christian took another mini Christmas cake while he talked to Cormac.
When Liberty announced she was having a Christmas party Christian had an idea; most of the other holidays had only met his boyfriend, Jack Frost, a handful of times, it was the perfect way for his family to meet Jack, even Harper, Valera's boyfriend, and Layla, Liberty's girlfriend got to meet him (Layla and Harper were buzzing with excitement).
Even now when he spared a glance at Jack talking with Luke, Aliza, and Wena Christian was so grateful to have met him.
Speaking of, he remembered the day he first met Jack.
The year was 1734 in the fall as it was edging closer to winter, Christian had decided to go to Nick's workshop to see if he could be any help for the upcoming holidays.
He was close to the shop when someone tall and lean stumbled into him.
"Ah! I apologize." A man's voice, deep and smooth, said.
"It's okay."
Christian looked at said man who was covered in a brown cloak with the hood up, leaving Christian unable to see his face.
He saw the man start to sway back and Christian reached out and took the man by his forearms. The man seemed dazed and confused.
"Let's get you inside, my friend can help you."
He put an arm over the man's shoulders and led the man toward the shop.By the time they reached the doors of the shop the man had regained most of his balance.
Once they were inside the warm and bright workshop the man pulled back his hood and gazed around with sparkling ice blue eyes.
He had handsome features, his hair was snow-white that touched his shoulders, a few strands curling by his face.
Christian had never seen anyone with snow white hair unless they were old, and the man was by no means old.Christian saw Nick by the staircase talking with one of the elves and took the man's forearm again.
"My friend's over this way." Christian said softly as he started leading the man to the staircase, looking down he saw the man had no shoes and left frosty footprints on the floor.
Nick finished talking to the elf when the two men strode over.
"Hello Christian, who's this young man with you?" Nick asked.
Christian explained how he and the man met a few moments ago.
"I see, well, why don't we get this young man upstairs to rest."
The two led the man upstairs and to the room on the left.
"How long has it been since you've eaten, young man?" Nick asked once they were in the room.
The man shrugged. "I am not sure."
"I'll go get some food for you." Nick replied before leaving the room.
"May I take your cloak?" Christian asked, seemingly snapping the man from his thoughts as he simply nodded and gave Christian the cloak.
Christian took it, his hand brushing the man's and he noticed how cold his skin was.
He put it in the wardrobe at the side of the room and pulled out a warm blue blanket.
He draped it over the man's shoulders before moving toward the door.
