Chapter 5:The Birthday Party

    Travis later joined them at the dinning table he didn't like the fact his mom and grandpa was telling kate all about his childhood, kate laughed slot when his mom told her about travis being scared of his mom's pet rabbit.
    Travis couldn't hold his anger so he left the dinning to his room, when dinner was over kate went to the room to see him laying down on the bed looking up,kate took the night dress she found in the wardrobe and put it on. Then laid on the bed as she was about to close her eyes to sleep she felt a painful grip on her shoulder, travis turned her over for Kate to face him "owch! Travis my shoulder it hurts"he held her so hard that blood didn't even flow through that part "what were you doing today putting on my cloth"is that why his holding me this way she thought"am sorry travis am so sorry" kate couldn't bare the pain anymore so she apologized then he released the grip on her,kate felt a trickle of tears flow down after he left her she couldn't bare but cry then she slept off.

   Kate got up and didn't see travis beside her she got up from the bed wondering what happened last night'maybe he had a bad day at work' she took her bath and went downstairs for breakfast, Khadija's friend was having a birthday party and her mom travis to accompany her but he was busy so she told kate to accompany dij to the birthday party. That night the party was held at the beach everywhere was noisy because of the music, kate didn't find it bad to just take a drink in the midst of people her age so she took a glass and couldn't resist the taste of the wine so she took more and dij was happy her sister in-law was enjoying herself.
              Everybody was busy cheering kate to take more, after that kate got drunk and khadija went to meet the celebrant. Meanwhile at home Travis returned from work and didn't see kate neither did he see his sister, his mom later told him that kate accompanied dij to her friend's birthday party. Travis felt uneasy so he went to were the party was held, everywhere was wild course of the loud music and cheers, Travis spotted his sister sleeping on a chair he carried her to the car and wanted to go home with his sister and forget about kate that she'll be fine, but he realized that his mom was going to ask about kate so he decided to search for her in the beach using her photo to ask "yeah I saw her, three guys took her that way" a guy told him.
