Mabels POV
the time that the power went on it was like 2am so Me and Pacifica slept in Me and Dippers room and Dipper slept downstairs
Besides that the power didn't cut off at all during the night...cause it was off
and the rain stopped
I woke up around 9am and so did Pacifica
she texted her parents and left kinda quickly
hope she made it home safely
*A FEW WEEKS LATER*
I woke up it was the 11th of July
may not seem like an important date at first but after some research I found out that the people who live on this street actually love Christmas so much that they celebrate it twice a year on the 25th of july!
oh but this street hasn't seen Mabel in her Christmas activated mode
get ready for SUMMERMAS
Dippers POV
I was awoken by Mabel screaming in my face holding her phone in my face
"Dipper can't you believe I didn't find out about it since like last week so I got prepared just imagine the food and presents and the-" Mabel said before I cut her off and said
"Mabel its 6am in the morning in summer"
"so we need to get started now and wrap all the presents and-" Mabel said
I'll have to admit she is like this most Christmases but this was a new thing
I've never heard of Summermas apparently we have 2 weeks to prepare
I called Pacifica about this to see if she knew about it
*on call with Pacifica*
Dip: SO IM SORRY HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN A TRADITION FOR!?
Paz: About a few years I found our as soon as we got here
Paz: you still have time to prepare though around 2 weeks I don't think all the shops are sold out
Dip: ok ok, hey are you busy this weekend I really don't wanna shop with Mabel
Paz: Sorry Dipper but My family are going to this job thing and I have to go aswell
Dip: fine I mean going to the mall with Mabel can't be that bad right
Paz: good luck
Dip: thanks
*call ends*
*2 hours later*
"so what's the difference between wool and rag?"
"DIPPER you need to pay attention otherwise your gonna embarrass yourself again like at the food store!" Mabel yelled in my ear
"Right got it there are more flavours of cake than chocolate and vanilla like pistachio... I thought that was an ice cream flavour" I said
"Dipper we could talk about this for 5 more hours" Mabel said
"please no" I said under my breath
"Why don't you go shopping with Mom and Dad instead?" Mabel asked me
we both paused then looked at each other
"ok nevermind" Mabel said as we walked out of the store
"ok anyways how many other people do we have to shop for?" Mabel asked me
"Mom-done, Dad-done, all of our 'friends' at school -...we'll just say done" I said
"Cool...and did you get a gift for Paz?" Mabel asked
"uh yeah" I said
obviously I hadn't even thought of what i was going to get her I mean what do you get a girl who kind of has everything
*A WEEK LATER*
Mabels POV
Aah the house was all decked out in rainbows and lights and christma-
summermas decor and best of all, all the presents were given and or under the tree
everything was going to plan
Dippers POV
nothing was going to plan
I was meant to get a present for Pacifica but every time I tried I either saw her in the store or I just wouldn't know what to get her
what was I going to do
"...and done"
Mabel said
"Mabel what's that?" I asked her
"it's Mistletoe!" she said back
"I thought mistletoe was red?" I said
"nope. I actually did some research and apparently holly is red and mistletoe is white also its meant to represent good luck and there's a tradition that if two people walk under it-" Mabel said
"yeah yeah I know the tradition but why is it above the living room door?"
"I was actually planning to move it everywhere when the guests come" Mabel said
"Guests?" I asked
"yeah some guests are coming over in a week but good thing to be prepared" Mabel said
Great let's just hope I'm not under that mistletoe with Pacific-
I mean anyone
...
"Dipper you should start helping to" Mabel said
"fine" I said back
all I really needed to do was get a present for Pacifica
Mabels POV
I think this Summermas is going to work out great
and there will be some romance in the air
