Festivities

It was midnight in Nimbasa city, the winter's breath blows through the wet, desolate streets. Though it was midnight, the city was far from quite, as an array of decoration filled the streets. Mistletoes hunged, lights put atop, the stores well litten with decorative lights bringing the whole scenery to life.

Amid the bounty of the red berries nature has brought, the brightness that warms each bright winter day, we celebrate Christmas Eve. As the writer is forced to write with a Christmas spin. Above all it is a night to dwell on what love is, and cherish it. As even the little moments fades just as it is.

"C'mon Goh! We're going to be late." The brunette called excitedly. Her coat a light blue, cute and pretty, as a fleeting snowflake.

"Yes-yes, I'm coming!" The raven haired trainer replied. A red sweater hung on his shoulders, it was a simple frame for him but it was the sweet person within it that held the girls eye.

"Calm down Chloe, we have plenty of time." He chuckled. It was cute seeing her like this, it's just like back when they were kids. Every Christmas Eve, they would always hurdle on to the harbor to watch the fireworks launch and she would always drag him even though they're an hour early. A little Karma from all the times he drag her off to find mew.

"Pawmi mi!" His Pawmi cheered. Seems she's excited as well.

Chloe gave a shaky smile as she let out a sigh of relief as the two walked down the lit up streets of Nimbasa city. The sight of the holiday decorations made her feel warm inside. She glanced over to him as his hand waved at her.

"Yeah... I know. I'm just.. really excited!" Chloe chuckled as she let her fingers play through her light brown hair, Eevee still wrapped in her arms. She was excited that night. Excited of a feeling she long dwell from him. A feeling of love.

The two were currently walking down the streets of Nimbasa to go meet up with a couple of friends they'd recently met here in Unova. They've met quite a number of people here, and quite a lot of adventures too. But today, today's different. After a long journey travelling with her now boyfriend. its good to take a breather and relax once in a while. It was Christmas after all.

Chloe was glad for what she had now. The feelings of nervousness and excitement all mixed up inside her. It was just so unreal to finally have a lover. After so long. Now, she could finally be herself with Goh. As they continue down the streets, Chloe begins to talk about her thoughts.

"You know... I can't believe it's already been almost ten months of traveling together. Time really flies when you're having fun, huh?" Chloe chuckled softly as she kept walking beside him as they walked down the streets.

"It really does... it really feels like it was just yesterday that we were still kids." He pauses as he reminisce the memory. They've grown up into quite the people. All the while he have grown more confident and learnt not get ahead of himself and to sometimes let things go.

Chloe giggles at his answer. A look of nostalgia plastered on her face. She had been thinking of the exact same thought earlier. About how this started as a simple adventure. Nothing romantic or emotional.

"Yeah... We really were just kids when we set out." Chloe sighs as she looks forward continuing to walk. "If only we knew what was in store for us." Chloe gave a light laugh as she looks aside and glances over to Goh. A small smirk apparent on her.

Goh blushed a bit at her comment, a feint tint of pink on his cheeks. It still didn't quite hit him that they've been a couple for some time now. "Okay-okay, let go meet Kieran and Juliana already." He replied, flustered.

Chloe snickered at his embarrassed reaction. She couldn't help but smirk. Just the way he acted around her was precious. She took note of her own actions, as she couldn't help but blush at her feelings as well, although she kept her composure somewhat.
