The Confrontation!

I am now driving to the house of Somi after I received a message from her. I told Minjeong about this and she insisted on going with me but it's me who declined the offer. I need to face them. I need to talk to my best friends alone.

I parked my car and went inside the house. I swung the main door open and there I saw the three sitting on the couch waiting for me.

"hey " I greeted after closing the door. Somi and Seulgi waved at me, but Ningning just threw her angry aura.

oh oh! Here we go!

" Please God help me to make this through " I whispered to myself.

" Rina, please take your seat first " Somi told me and I nodded at her.

My heart was thumping like a drum with this awkward silence we're having now. No one was saying anything, and they just stared at me, making me more anxious.

"ahem " I cleared my throat.

" Okay, I think every time I've got to see you, I always start by saying I'm sorry " I paused looking at their reactions.

I sighed, when there's no one attempting to just tell me something or anything, so I continued.

" I.......I know you've seen what happened last night between me and Jeno."

"That you broke up? yes! " Seulgi said. I nodded.

"I know you really like him for me but please try to understand. I fell out of love with him. I don't love Jeno anymore and I don't want to force myself to give us another chance when there's no chance left. I'm loving someone else. "

" Winter!!! " Ningning spat, earning everybody's attention.

" What? How come her name was involved here? '' Somi asked so confused facing Ningning who are still throwing me her tiger look.

" What are you trying to say, Ning? " Seulgi follows through.

" Why don't you ask Karina? " She paused standing on her feet.

"you " pointing at me " answer them or do you want me to tell them the truth. "

My heart sank and I could feel that I was starting to hyperventilate, but I got my remaining courage inside of me to answer Ningning.

"You know? "I directed my question to Ningning.

"Yes, I saw you kissing her " she exclaimed full of disgust.

" WHAT?! " Seulgi and Somi yelled in unison as they stand on their feet totally in shock.

" Wait wait please help us, what's going on here? " Somi asked, plopping herself back on the couch, her head in between her hands.

" Karina, you or me? " She threatened.

My body became cold, and I felt my knees tremble, so I remained sitting.

I deep sighed and told "I will."

" Rina, is that true? " Seulgi query with a shaky voice. I looked up to her and saw that she's hurting and sad.

I nodded. " wha ----how? "

"It started when I was in France. I met her there and we bonded. And I never thought that we're going to see each other again but that day I... I felt something about her, like I don't know how to explain it but there was something special with her. "
