Hanna turned on the radio to hear a Christmas song she loved to tease her boyfriend with.

Bucky, in the next room, heard the song begin and quietly groaned to himself. He looked up to see a smirking Hanna walk in. "Doll, don't."

Hanna smiled as she sang along in her soft, melodic voice. "Santa baby, just slip a Sable under the tree for me. Been an awful good girl
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight."

"Hanna, I mean it."

""Santa baby, a '54 convertible too, light blue. I'll wait up for you, dear. Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight." Dance with me, Buck. Or at least let me serenade you."

Bucky sighed as she continued. "Think of all the fun I've missed. Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed. Next year I could be just as good. If you check off my Christmas list."

"Fellas?" Bucky said with a frown.

"You're the only fella for me, Buck. No need to worry.

An idea crossed Bucky's mind and a small smile came across his face.

Hanna, in her own little world, didn't notice. "Santa baby, I want a yacht and really that's not a lot. Been an angel all year. Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight. Santa honey, one little thing I really need. The deed to a platinum mine. Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight."

"A mine? Now that's asking for too much, doll."

Hanna laughed and continued singing. "Santa cutie, and fill my stocking with the duplex and checks. Sign your 'x' on the line. Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight. Come and trim my Christmas tree, with some decorations bought at Tiffany's. I really do believe in you. Let's see if you believe in me."

Bucky grabbed a box from nearby and held it behind his back, thankful Hanna hadn't seemed to notice.

Hanna continued singing, in her own little world. "Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing. A ring, I don't mean on the phone. Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight. Hurry down the chimney tonight. Hurry, tonight." She turned to see Bucky down on one knee. "What are you doing?"

"Granting a wish. Hanna Samson, you've made me happier than anyone has in a long time, and I want that to be a forever thing. Will you marry me?"

Hanna nodded, blinking back tears. "Yes, Bucky, I'll marry you."

Bucky slipped the ring on her left hand and pulled her up. The two shared a kiss and began dancing as I'll Be Home for Christmas began to play.

He found himself watching her, wondering how he got to be so lucky. He shook his head of all thought, just wanting to be there with her in that moment, nothing on his mind but the woman he adored swaying in his arms.
