Vittoria's P.O.V

I can't breath. Oh Gods of the Elements everyone is staring at me. My inhaler. I need it quickly. I scrambled around on the hallway floor rummaging through the things I had dropped for my red inhaler. Suddenly, a tan hand appeared in front of my face holding it. After taking two quick puffs and taking a deep breathe, I looked up only to be sucked into two gorgeous dark blue eyes framed by long shinning straight black hair.

"Hello," said a very beautiful girl in a deep rich voice as she stretched out her hand again, " my name is Nikita."

I gratefully took her hand and felt a strange tingling sensation as she pulled my petite body up effortlessly. She then proceeded to squat down and gather my stuff into my black bag. Nikita then gracefully stood up to her full 5'8 height and handed it to me.

"Thank you," I said slipping my bag onto my shoulder, " for helping me up and gathering my things."

"You're welcome," she said, " what did you say your name was? I haven't seen you around and with the size of this school and town it's rare to not know everything and everyone. Specially when they're as beautiful as you."

I pushed a red curl behind my ear and looked up into her eyes blushing slightly.

" I never told you my name and I'm new that's probably why you don't recognize me. My name's Vittoria not Victoria, but Vittoria." I said sounding out the Ts in my name. Many tend to miss out on the fact that my name has in fact two Ts.

Nikita smiled and said, " Well that's an interesting name. Is it okay if I call you Tori?"

"Yeah that's fine," I said as the bell rang.

"Time for first period," Nikita pouted, "Oh well. I guess we'll just have to catch up later won't we."

I took out the crumbled schedule out of my front pocket and squinted at the letters wrinkling my nose.

Nikita laughed, "What is it?"

"I got Ap U.S History first period. I hate history," I said sighing.

"It's all good. I have Ap Government which is in the history building so I'll walk you to your class if you'd like," Nikita said.

"Okay," I said and was quickly ushered towards the stairs.

Goddess of the Sun, please don't let me regret agreeing to this.
