I walk through the white doors of my home, smelling the air that's filled with rich cologne. Down the hall is a living room and seating area. I walk up to the chase-lounge and run my fingers across the velvet surface. In one swift moment I'm sitting on the long chair, proofing my red dress out in front of me. I close my eyes and remember every detail of my home. From the cracks in the wall to the massive chandelier hanging above dining room table. But suddenly it fades away and I am woken by a sharp turn and a honking horn. "Sorry sweetheart, some asshole doesn't know how to drive." Says my father speeding down the freeway heading to out new home in Fiore.
I wish I was still at our old estate but my father got engaged to some woman I don't even know who lives there. He was so intent on being with her he built a new house in Fiore and moved there as soon as possible leaving behind everything I once loved. Moving houses wasn't the only thing I was worried about, though. A new step mother, new school, and new people; it was a lot to take in.

We pull into a drive way of a small but cute house in the suburbs of the city. It's a quaint little home that has just the right amount of trees and flowers surrounding its structure. It has a blue roof and white walls and looks kinda old. We unpack the car and make our way up the path to the house. The first thing I hear is a woman scream with excitement.
"Oooooi!!! My darlings you are here at last!!!" The stranger ran out the door and hugged me tightly while I stood not knowing what to do. She moved on to my father and passionately kissed him... It was an odd sight to see but I gulped and moved into the house.
"Lucy this is Jallissa. My bride to be." Said my father motioning to the crazy lady running around making sure everything was in order. She was nothing like mom. Mom was cool and collected, this Jallissa woman was all over the place busy as a bee. She had dark brown hair that was wrapped in fancy bun, blue eyes hidden by glasses and wore a blue poofy blouse with a black skin tight skirt. She stumbled over to me and hugged me again.
"Oh my darling, look at you! You are so beautiful. My, my, I do hope you like this new home, I know it may be hard but hopefully we can all get along." She said with a smile. She lead me to my new room which was the attic of the house. It was refinished and had a bathroom and everything which was so cool. It even had a massive window that lead to a balcony on the back side of the house. Okay I lied this house wasn't small, it wasn't as big as the estate, obviously, but it felt big enough to be home. A new home. A new life. It was all happening so fast. Calm down Lucy you're over thinking. I thought to myself as I started unpacking my things. There were already shelves and drawers in the room so I put all my clothes and things in there. After an hour of putting almost everything I had away, which wasn't even that much, I plopped on my bed and let out a satisfied sigh. It's gonna be okay I thought to myself. I looked out the window which had a perfect view of the city and slowly drifted off to sleep in my new home.
