"Aurora hurry up please." my mum yelled from the kitchen "okay okay i'm coming" i grab my suitcase and bag and head to the kitchen and grab my car keys off the bench.
i go and get the car and put my bags in the boot (trunk) whilst mum locks up the house "you ready" i question my mum looks at me and nods with a smile on her face.
this is going to be the longest car trip but it's worth it every single summer.

Aurora Ray, i'm 17 i'm the middle one i enjoy the beach and partying i'm a drinker at heart especially after dad left over a year and a half ago it's been tough but iv managed i guess.
* * * time jump to arriving in byron bay
"finally!" i excitedly said getting out the car and stretching my legs before im greeted by mrs and mr jones "look at you! all grown up" "stop thank you millie" i say giving her a hug
i mean i wouldn't say iv changed but i got rid of my braces and my skin cleared up abit oh and my body grew my boobs and bum got bigger, i hit puberty late compared to everyone else in my year.
"RORA!" i hear my name get yelled as im engulfed in a group hug with zachariah and Jaylon
"oh how much i missed yous" i say sarcastically before i break out laughing those boys are my life i love them like siblings im an only child so they the only children i really grew up around other then school but i never fitted in kinda a loner if thats what you would call it.
"no, no, no" i say as they zachariah threw me over hes shoulder running towards the beach.
the house backs onto the beach its a beautiful two story house with a massive wrap around deck with a view of the beach.
"ZACHARIAH PUT ME DOWN" i try and say over my laughing as i try and hold my head up seeing jaylon following behind
next thing i know we all are in the ocean splashing around laughing enjoying ourselves oh how much i missed this
after about an hour of messing around in the beach we all raced back to the house to get the shower first ofc i came last but i still grabbed my towel and made it into the bathroom first.

after washing my hair and body i just got into some black tight denim shorts and a loose white crop top and walk downstairs, i assumed the boys used the outside shower because they were both showered and clothed
as i walk into the kitchen area i see jaylon out the back with hes feet in the pool "what's he doing out there" i ask confused as to why he's not inside with the rest of us "i don't know he had a moment and needed space i guess" zachariah says i just nod in agreement before i go outside and sit next to him
"you alright. Jaylon stop" i say grabbing the cigarette out hes mouth "rude but yes im okay" he said with a slight giggle "there is a bonfire tonight do you want to come?" "umm is there going to be alcohol?" i questioned "of course!" "then yes of course im coming!" i say excitedly
i love a good bonfire or alcohol should i say.
