SonAmy Story: Don't ever leave me again

A week after reading through the last entries in Amy's diary, Sonic hasn't been feeling so well in his life. He could barely leave his own house to hang out with anyone else. He was overthrown by his own guilt of making Amy die of a broken heart. He wished he never dated Sally back then or said those harsh words to Amy at all.

(6 months later...)

Things have been getting a lot worse with Sonic's life. As well his own friends. Especially Tails, Knuckles, and Nebula. Thankfully Eggman had stopped attacking for some reason and hasn't re-appeared since. Sonic's mental state has been getting much worse. He barely runs anymore, he barely leaves his house or eats much at all. Every day, he always has the same nightmare of trying to save Amy, but always fails. He even tried to kill himself by cutting his wrists, but it never worked. Anytime he did do it though, Tails would bring him to the hospital to recover. After a week in the hospital, Sonic returns home, and another week after the cuts on his wrists fully heal, he ends up going under the same cycle yet again for the past six months. Which of course has Tails, Knuckles, Nebula, and the others get very worried about him.

"I think Sonic's starting to lose it." Tails said, in fear and concern for Sonic.

"Well, it's obvious. He's been this way ever since Amy died." Knuckles said.

"If Sonic is going to keep these suicide attempts up, we might have to sign him into a mental institution." Tails responded.

"How is that going to help Sonic with his broken heart?" Nebula asked, a bit angry.

"It won't. But it will at least stop him from trying to kill himself!" Tails yelled.

"Sonic is only like this because Amy is gone!" Nebula yelled back, triggering her dark form a little.

Tails and Knuckles were a bit shocked from Nebula's response.

"I'm sorry I yelled like that. But it's true. Don't you remember the last time you guys tried to help Sonic let go of his guilt on Amy?" Nebula said.

The two of them nodded. Anytime Tails, Knuckles, or anyone else tried to talk Sonic out of his mental state, it never works. He would always argue about not letting go and turn dark to make them leave. And ends up bursting into tears shortly after.

"We need to bring Amy back." Nebula said. "She's the only one who can heal Sonic's broken heart."

"But that's impossible." Tails responded. "Amy is dead, and she can't come back."

"Actually... there might be a way to bring Amy back." Knuckles said.

"There is?" Tails said, a bit surprised.

"How?" Nebula asked.

"We need to bring all seven of the Chaos Emeralds to Angel Island and unite them with the Master Emerald. Whoever unites the emeralds all together can make a wish." Knuckles explained.

"Well, if that's the case... Let's go find the emeralds!" Tails said, impatiently for wanting Sonic to be happy again.

"Actually, I have them all right here." Knuckles said, taking out a small bag that held all the emeralds. "After Eggman stopped attacking for awhile, I went out to find all of the Chaos Emeralds. They're all right here."

"Well, let's get to Angel Island and bring Amy back!" Nebula said, taking the emeralds. "Come on!"

"I'll fire up the X-Tornado." Tails said, as he and Nebula went off.

"I'll hold Sonic back so he won't attempt to cut himself again." Knuckles said, rushing off to Sonic's house.
