Gabriel sat up in bed, his eyes surveying around his room. He could barely make out anything in the darkness, but it felt like he was being watched. Desperate to soothe his nerves, his hands tossed around his blanket for his phone.
He sighed in relief when he grabbed his phone, he tapped the screen, it didn't turn on. Gabriel huffed as he reached for his charger.
"You look so much more mature now. Has it really been this long?"
Gabriel's body froze, goosebumps running up his arms. His mind fuzzy, he couldn't stop the pounding of his heart, pinching himself to wake up from what might be a bizarre dream. Nothing changed.
"I'm real. I'm not some figment of your overactive imagination." The intruder chuckled, getting closer to Gabriel.
"No way, dude, I'm a schizophrenic. Like diagnosed when I was 14 type shit... Well, I don't know. I haven't gotten another diagnosis but once a schizophrenic.. always a schizophrenic, right? And I know you're not real because there's no way you got past my security system, my cats, and my paranoid mother." Gabriel felt a bit more bold and confident that man was simply not real. His body relaxing.
"Listen, dumbass."
"No, you listen. I gotta work in the morning. I need to sleep, Hat Man and unless you're gonna tuck me i-"
"I'm not a fucking hallucination!" The lights came on, blinding Gabriel. He looked up and, sure enough, there was a man standing in front of his bedroom door. Not wearing a hat either.
Gabriel bit back a scream. He scrambled for a weapon, launching his stuffed animal at the stranger. The guy caught it. Gabriel began to toss more at him, hoping to hold him off long enough to grab the taser in his dresser.
His only form of self-defense just pissed the man off more, "You idiot, are you playing dumb right? Do you not remember me? What about Victoria?"
Gabe scrunched up his face, he grabbed his phone and held it up as if threatening to throw it. "I don't owe anyone money!"
"You died for her! You idiot!." The man stepped closer to him.
"But I'm not dead?... Am I dead.. like right now?" Gabriel is positive, he would remember if he died, especially for some random woman.
Gabriel sat there for a moment, he had a best friend named Victoria a few years ago. It had been forever since they spoke. Best friends throughout high school and then Gabriel's life went downhill and he dropped contact with her.
Gabriel put down his phone, he feels alive. This man wasn't making any sense to him. He slowly reached for his glasses, his vision adjusting as he tried to comprehend why this certain man was here. He blinked a few times, his massive room finally unblurring, he looked around.
His room still looked the exact same way he left it before he went to bed. Messy and walls covered in posters. His eyes finally landed on the intruder.
"So You're not gonna say anything?" The man crossed his arms, his face clicking in Gabriel's mind.
"Holy fuck, you're Misha Collins!!!!"
"Yes! Wait what? No. I'm not him."
"DOPPELGÄNGER!!!!" Gabriel shuffled through his dresser for a taser.
"NO. Holy shit, it's me, Cass. Castiel? You don't remember."
"Nah, bruh, I would remember if I was friends with an old white man."
"Lemme remind you," Castiel got closer to Gabriel, Gabriel scooted back on his bed.
Castiel crawled onto the bed, his body hot against Gabriel's. The weight of Castiel' body pushing Gabriel further onto the mattress, he caressed his face. Castiel leaned in to kiss him. Gabriel stared for a second. And then slapped him hard across the face.
