3rd person POV
We see a man in armor. Royal armor. He is in a cave with a bowl looking at a much older man who lives in this cave.
????: this is a one way road....
Vlad: you must be better then me my son.
????: if you drink this then you forfeit your life....
Ozai: I hope you will be at least close to your father level.
????: for unlimited but costly powers.....
Azula: please keep your promise.
The man then starts to drink from the bowl until there is nothing left. After that he feels nothing. Believe that it did nothing.... Until he feels death. He felt he was dying. Falling back and looking up at the ceiling of the cave as his life began to flash before his eyes as he died....
Flashback
We see a young boy. A boy who looks like a younger version of the guy in armor in the cave is standing at a funeral. In front of him is a coffin for his father while soldiers, politicians, and civilians were standing around the coffin giving there tribute to a great soldier and leader.
But to the boy they were Monsters, liars, and backstabbers to his family. His grandfather was also a great soldier until one mistake save the soldiers fighting alongside him but also cost him to lose a battle for the fire nation. When he got home he wasn't thanked for saving 500 men... he was hated by the people of the fire nation, betrayed by the fire lord who he saw as a friend, and caused the family name struck from the history books and thrown in the trash. Just for doing the right thing.
????: (Y/N)!
Everyone looked up at who was talking only to bow their heads to the fire lord son. The boy named (Y/N) looked at the soon to be fire lord with hateful eyes. The same eyes that was past down from his grandfather to his father then to him all aimed at the fire nation lords and politicians. (Y/N) knew what was happening and hate it.
Ozai: after everything your father has done for this nation I have chosen to take you in. So he can rest easy.
(Y/N) only saw hatred but hold it in for the time being. Everything around him change as we see him now in the fire lord thrown room. With (Y/N) standing in front of the fire lord as Ozai and his family are bowing to the fire lord behind (Y/N).
Fire Lord: Now out of the goodness of our hearts we have brought you in. Which means you will be treated as one of our family.
(Y/N) knew they wanted him here just to be a weapon for them. They wanted a weapon. They saw that in his father but his father did everything to keep away from them. (Y/N) couldn't get away now. He is stuck here and will have to do anything to keep away.
Fire Lord: DID YOU HEAR ME!
(Y/N): yes.
Right then (Y/N) walked out of the room against the Fire Lord wishes. (Y/N) hated this and was looking for a hiding spot.
????: Hey!
Unknown to (Y/N) the people behind him was someone he would do anything for.... But right now he hated her.
Azula: where do you think you're going?
