Abyss

~Act 3~

I breathed heavily as the knife trailed down to my throat. I didn't know where I was. The moment I opened my eyes, I found myself chained in a room. I was wounded. Blood oozing out from my body. My arms had a few scratches. My whole body was aching like hell.

"Having fun, Honey" I shut my eyes as tears rolled down my cheeks. It was a very familiar voice. I tried searching for the person's face but I couldn't. I was shivering. It was dark and gloomy. I could only see dim lights flickering.
"I badly want you to die, you know" She laughed. I spoke with the terror "W-who are you?"
"Honey, it's bad. You did not recognise your.......... mother." I was taken aback. I looked at my mother surprised and shocked. Mother! Why would she be here? Why is she doing all these? My mind was flooded with several questions. I could not think straight.
"Hi! Honey" I could see her smirking. She removed the scarf that once hid her face. "Surprise" She whispered in my ears. I looked at the knife she was holding. I instantly kicked her. I hurriedly untied my hands that was tied with rope. I heard her groan. I stood up but fell again as my feet were chained. I looked around helpless. I saw her standing up. No—"Where do you think you are going, Honey?" I saw her greeting her teeth. I saw her knife on the floor.
It's now or never.
She came closer to me. "Wherever you aren't!" I growled loudly as I threw the chair towards her. I stabbed her twice. I saw blood oozing out from her skin. She groaned loudly.
"You are going to hell" She spoke
I didn't waste any second and ran out as fast as I could.

It was an abandoned building. I stumbled as I walked further. My legs felt heavy. They were still tied with chains. I coughed blood. At a certain distance, I saw a man sitting. It was dark. I could barely see. I walked with my heavy legs. I saw the man walking away. I dragged my feet hurriedly. "Hey, Mister, hey listen" My voice came out as whisper. The man walked away and I stood there gasping for help.

I took support of the nearby tree and sat on the ground. I coughed once again. I felt tears forming in my eyes. I blinked to prevent the tears from falling. I stared at the sky hopeless. I felt a wave of betrayal splashed upon me. Mother! You could have killed me earlier, so I wouldn't live to see this. A tear escaped from my eyes. I realised how cruel you are that you don't deserve my love. You loved me. You promised you cared. Now you have me wondering, was it all game? You were once kind but now your heart is all stone. You said you will never leave me. It's all fake!

"Hey!..." I heard a faint voice calling me. I blinked twice to adjust the light. I fell asleep! Well, I stretched my arms. Ouch! It's still aching. Gosh! As I opened my eyes, I flinched and moved back. I grabbed a nearby branch and shoved it to her mouth. I saw her making a wierd face. She fell down. I crawled towards her slowly. I looked at her carefully. She looked somehow familiar. I poked her arms carefully. She gasped loudly. I immediately moved back. She stood again and yelled loudly "What the hell!" I looked at her face trying to read her expressions. She looked at me. "Dude" She groaned. She offered me her hands. I blinked looking at her.

Ohhhhhh Shit! Fleet...

I saw her raising her eyebrows. I laughed nervously. "Seems like you had a memory loss." She said looking at me. I walked upto her. "What are you doing here, Fleet?"
"Well, it's a long story......." She said moving away.
