Ghosts of winter

Casper

I was sitting in the window in my wolf form when someone came up behind me and scared me half to death. I turned around and gave a low growl at the person only for it to be Lucas. He gave an apologetic smile and i just rolled my eyes and turned back to the window. Only for Michael to came busting into my room. He nodded his head and I motioned for him to elaborate since I was still in my wolf form.
         "You were right she was still alive and she was found by one of our allies. The ocean pack found her and their territory in a hunter base. She was really banged up though and she won't leave the side of the man who saved her. Casper, its ghost that they found," he said and I howled for joy. My sister was alive and she was safe.
'Did you tell Spirit yet?' I asked and Michael shook his head no. 'Come on, Lucas, let's go tell her.' I head butted Lucas' leg and he got the idea and lead the way to spirit and we told her. She changed into her wolf form and we howled for joy together. Lucas, Michael and michael's mate, Amber, joined in as well. Then the horn that told that the ocean pack was here sounded and I took off towards it with spirit on my tail. We were almost to the cars when Michael stopped us and warned us that ghost might be afraid due to whatever she went through in the prisons. He also told us that she had spoken a word since she woke up and has only been writing things down. Suddenly the ocean pack started getting out of the cars. Alpha Perseus and Luna Andromeda got out first and greeted Alpha Michael and Luna Amber. Then another man stepped out and Ghost followed in her wolf form and when she saw all of us she hid behind him. The man turned towards ghost and calmed her down. He picked her up and she put her head on his shoulder. He walked over the his Alpha and Luna. He greeted Michael and Amber. They greeted him as Beta Delta. He set Ghost on the ground and she hid behind him again. He gave a heavy sigh and then knelt down to Ghost. He talked to her a little bit and then she came out from behind him. Once she saw me and spirit and recognized us she came barreling towards us and we all hugged each other while wagging our tails. Then Ghost went back over to Beta Delta and pulled on his pant leg to come over to us. He did and she mind linked with him and introduced us most likely.
"Nice to meet you, Casper and Spirit," he said. Me and Spirit both nodded our heads and then I playfully nudged Ghost and Spirit. I took off running and stopped in front of the pack house only to get tackled by an unknown female. Our eyes locked and I realized this girl was my mate. She let me up and i got up only to be tackled by my sisters. The she-wolf gave a soft whine and I got up. I walked over to her and motioned to the pack house. I wanted to explain to her who my sisters were but she seemed to think that i wanted to say something else because she took off running. I took off after her and tackled her. I grabbed her scruff and picked her up. I took her into a hidden cave and shifted.
"shift," i said to her and she did. She had beautiful crystal blue eyes and sunny blonde hair. She was wearing a pale blue sundress with whit capris leggings and pale blue flats. She was fair skinned and had a pack warrior mark like I did. I kept mine hidden though due to the fact that it gives me a bit of an edge that way. I also kept my scent hidden as well.
"who are those two girls to you?" She asked shyly.
"My sisters, Ghost and Spirit. My name is Casper. We often get referred to as the necromancy siblings.  Because of our powers and our names," I explained, "Also if you think that I am going to reject you then you better think again. I would rather eat poop then do that."
she chuckled and I joined in.
"what is your pack status? I can't really sense what it is," she said and i just chuckled at the fact that i forgot to unmask my scent. I unmasked it and her eyes suddenly widened at the fact that my pack status was Beta and pack warrior. Betas and gammas were known for remaining a virgin until they found their mate so all females who weren't a gamma's or a beta's mate just left them alone.
"You know you still haven't told me your name so I'm not going to answer any more questions until you tell me," I said in my silliest voice and she was laughing so hard. It was melodious laugh that I couldn't help but smile at.
"Melody. My name is Melody," she said.
"Melody," I said huskily and she shuddered. I leaned into her and brushed my lips against hers and she deepened the kiss. I pushed her back and she gently pushed on my chest. I pulled back and saw that she was breathless. I placed a kiss to the spot that would soon bare my claim mark and she shuddered. Then i heard her name get shouted it was the same man that had been with Ghost.
"that would be my big brother, Delta," said Melody as I helped her up. I lead her to her brother and she looked down only to see that her clothes were on her again. She looked at me and I shrugged.
"Have these been back on me this entire time," she asked and I nodded. We saw Delta run away from us back toward the pack house and I got worried. I shifted into my wolf and masked my scent and Melody shifted as well. I led the way back and we arrived just in time to see Delta take down my dad. I flipped and shifted into my human form and took my dad from Delta. I was shaking with rage and anger. I took my dad to the dungeons and then left to go to the hospital.
Delta's POV
I watched as Ghost bounded after Casper along side her sister, Spirit, only for Melody to crash into Casper and the two locked eyes. Then when ghost and spirit came and tackled him my sister took off running and Casper chased after her. I waited for a few minutes and then went after them in my human form. I called out Melody's name and I heard voices and laughing. I followed the noises and found Casper and Melody. They looked happy and I could tell they were mates. I thought about ghost and wondered how she was doing when suddenly I felt panic and pain hit me. I knew something had happened to ghost and immediately went to her. I found her and saw a man standing over her and he held a gun. I immediately changed into my wolf and pinned him to the ground knocking the guy out. I immediately turned and went to ghost's side. I saw the bullet wound and I felt anger and rage run through my veins. I had just found Ghost three days ago and now I could lose her because of that son of a ***.  I quickly picked her up and I felt my wolf trying to talk to me.
'Dude, she is gonna be okay but only if we mark her otherwise she will die,' said Jesse.
'I don't think she will be too happy about that,' I said. I asked the alpha to take me to the pack hospital. He led the way and the doc told me what I needed to do. It was the same throng that Jesse had said. I asked everyone to leave and they did.
          "Ghost, I don't know if you can hear me but I just want you to know that me marking you is the only way I can save you. I love you with all my heart and I hope you can forgive me for not waiting until you are ready. I wanted this moment to as special for you as it could have been but it seems that that isn't in the cards for us. I love you with all my heart, ghost," I said then I leaned down and marked her as my own. I heard her moan as she woke up in the process. She tangled her hand in my hair and held me there.
         "I heard you, Delta, and I love you with my whole heart too," she whispered and I bit harder. She gasped and I pulled away. I licked the blood away and smirked against her skin. She gave a playful growl and I just smirked even more. I pulled back and looked into her eyes. She looked into mine and then we kissed. I held her waist and brought her into my lap as I deepened the kiss. She wrapped her arms around my neck and then I carried her to the guest room. We went to bed and slept holding each other.
