Aria, Ella, Liv, and I are discussing our Friday night party at school around the lunch table. Aria and Ella will handle the invitations, and Liv will bring us drinks from her father's wine cellar. Of course, without his knowledge. We're all still 17 years old, so none of us are eligible. I intended to have several of my maids go out and get beer cans while I prepared the house for the party. I'll ask them not to inform my parents or brother.
Of course, the party will take place in my house, but only on one side. We have two sides in my house, so I'll divide it in half and prohibit guests from walking to the opposite side so nothing gets messed up. The pool and game room are on the opposite side. They will be able to enter the game room, but not the pool.

I couldn't hear what Aria was saying since she was talking about the boys she was inviting to the party. My attention was drawn to the man who had just entered the cafeteria. Lucas looked great and was smiling with his friends. I simply want to reach out and kiss him.

Never mind, we're not together anymore.

The quiet new girl wasn't in school today. We had biology together, and she wasn't in class. That's strange.
I anticipated her to be dick-riding Lucas all around the school. I'm still staring at Lucas as he sits with his friends, laughing. He had the most gorgeous smile. I detest that I miss him; I loathe him even more now that there are allegations that he cheated on me, but I can't shake the feelings I still have for him. He was the first and only guy I ever fucked. My friends didn't know, and neither did he. I recall thinking about it the first time we were about to do it. When he asked if I had any experience, I responded yes. only to avoid embarrassment, and it hurts so much. But it felt great later on. I miss our make-out sessions, his lips against my skin, and the way he tenderly touches and kisses me. The taste of him when his fingers were deep inside me. God. Thinking about our experiences arouses me against my thighs and—
"Oh my god, earth to Beatrice," Liv said as she snapped her fingers in front of me, jolting me back to reality. I return my gaze to them. Aria had an uneasy expression on her face, but she immediately wiped it away.

"I swear I saw drool coming out of your mouth," Ella mocked, and I hit her playfully.
"Shut up, so what were we talking about?" I inquired, but my thoughts were still on Lucas. "About the party invitations, I posted it on my story, and some college guys follow me, so they'll be there," Aria goes on to explain. "I'm sure this party is going to be really fun, and all of us will have multiple orgasms."
"ARIA!"
"Keep your voice down," Ella said as she choked on her water.
We all busted out laughing, and I looked over to my right and saw the ally girl approaching Lucas. She only needs to be present to destroy the mood.
"Oh, my God! Someone kill me right now." I sat up upright, lowering my head into my arms. I don't want her to see me; it's embarrassing knowing that Lucas and I split up and she already had him.
"No, come on, its fine; head up right now," Liv demanded, but I ignored her. Aria chuckled, and I raised my head, glaring at her.
"I'm sorry, this is just funny—OMG, DO NOT TURN AROUND; HE'S HUGGING HER." Aria's eyes widened, and my curiosity was killing me. I instantly turned over and saw them hugging, and she was beaming at him. Seeing him in that state breaks my heart. The way he used to look at me.
Fuck men.

"You know what? Let's get this party ready, fuck Lucas. I'm going to fuck the feelings I still have for him out of me." I say, seeming serious, even though deep down, if he just walked over to me and said, 'Let's get back together,'  I'd say yes without thinking twice.

"I love this energy," Liv said with a smile. She was about to say something else when she was hauled up and kissed. She laughed and kissed him back. Marcus kissed her again before tucking a strand of her hair behind her ears. At the moment, all I want to do is stand in the center of a highway until cars run over me.
"I'm getting out of here," I murmured.
"Coming with you!" Ella shouted out, grabbing her bag and sprinting after me.
"I can't stand people in relationships. Love is nothing but a pain." Ella spoke quietly.
Except that I'm the only one who is in pain. Ella never dated—well, she dated a few weird guys, but she never fell in love.
