Chapter 1 "Great just great"

My high heels paved into the pavement in the streets of a busy city

I was late I was always late m

But this time I really needed to be early , here's the deal I had started looking for new jobs to gain some money so I could go to the university of my dreams but they don't do scholarships and their tuition money is more than I can handle so I decided to look for a job to help me get to college and help my family.

Things were a little tight in the economy section with her family so If she got the job she'd really be able to help.

Finally!!! I saw the  building that I was  looking for even having seen it multiple times it never failed to amaze me, it was big and really tall I'd praise the architect for being a f*cking genius.

I tried to make myself at least a little bit presentable and fixed my dress while walking I wasn't looking when I bumped into a man .

"Sorry" we both said a the same time I looked up to find a handsome man rough sandy blonde hair and brown eyes and and lot of freckles they weren't that distinctive though you had to look at him very thoroughly to notice it.

"I'm guessing this is your first day" he said .

Truth was that it was her first day                 "It is you guessed right" I said .

"Were you going to the elevators?"He asked .

"I am" I replied .

"Let me walk you there" He offered.

"Sure" I said .

We walked in a comfortable silence till we reached the elevators he pressed a  button and soon enough the elevator arrived  we entered and oddly enough there weren't any people.

"I'm Nate nice to meet you" He said in
attempt to introduce himself.

"I'm Blair nice to meet you aswell " I answered.

After I spoke everything returned to its original silence.

The elevators stopped and dinged indicating that I had reached my place.

But you can imagine my surprise when we both walked out , weird oh well.

"Well goodbye Blair good luck in your first day " He said .

"Goodbye Nate and Thank you" I said .

We both walked in different directions.

I walked onto I saw this little reception that was black with gray details but in the middle it said "Loft & Kent enterprises" there the was a blonde and blue-eyed  she was also pretty very pretty like she just walked out of beauty pageants in her name tag it said "Ella Grace"  under that it said "Jr Receptionist".

She noticed me and looked up from her work "Hello how can I help you" she said in a sing-song voice.

"Hi I'm the new assistant so I was wondering if you could show me where I'm supposed to be" I said .

"Yeah of course , MCKENNA!!!!!!!!!" She spoke .

"YES!!!" I heard another woman yell just then a tall woman with black hair and green eyes walked in slender face she was very attractive model like she also had  a uniform similar to Ella's  but in her name tag it said " McKenna Delphi" but under that it said "Sr. Receptionist ".

Was everybody here attractive or what .

"I need  to take the new assistant to the boss ,can you cover for me?" She asked.

"Fine" McKenna replied .

Ella quickly got out of her chair and then started walking I just followed her awkwardly  until we reached a door she knocked and someone who I assume is the person I'm going to be working for said come in she opened a door to a big space filled with plants and shelfs and paintings a little desk which I assumed will be mine was in the corner  and a big black crystal desk in the middle in which a big plaque was it said "Mr. Nathaniel Loft-Kent C.E.O of Loft and Kent enterprises" and sat in a chair was Nate the Nate from this morning.

"Great just great" I thought .
