When something is lit before me, I feel delighted to experience it. For instance, when I learn something new, my mind is lit with new knowledge and I smile for I now understand the matter.

Though, when a fire is lit, I don't just feel delighted. I feel alive. A flame performing a show in front of my eyes causes these shivers down my spine.

Especially one fire, the one that caused our move.

Never blew out the candles in my room one night and one so happily fell onto the carpet and caught fire. I almost died, got hospitalized too but, I was calm about it all.

She insults me for the reason of building a thick skin for me. I already have a thicker skin than her, and she knows. Why she keeps pestering me with nonsense about myself, probably to break me down by now.

But you know, she's not all bad. Her insults have lit up something in me. Passion.
