Chapter 14: Engagement Party 2

Kate was shocked what was ken doing in their bedroom, she stood up from the table and turned to face ken.
  Kate was furious "ken what are you doing here? If Travis see's you here you're done for"
    "I don't care what that beast can do but I just want to see the woman close to my heart " ken said and caressed Kate's cheek and leaned down and kissed her softly, Kate pushed him away .
  "Are you crazy, ken please live" Kate said pointing to the door.
   "Kate I know you are not happy here just come with me and we'll live the country".
      "How did you know am not happy huh, beside Travis family loves and care about me".
     "Alright what about Travis does he love you just the way you do".
     "No he doesn't but I know that feelings develop, not your parents who despise me so much".
     " Kate please I can't live without you, my life is incomplete with out you "
    "You're crazy ken just get out now". Ken held Kate on her waist and pulled her close to him then Travis opened the door. He was so furious, Kate felt like the earth should swallow her course she knee Travis won't believe her, while ken's mood didn't change at all.
Kate pushed him away and tried to explain everything to Travis but before kate could say a word Travis rushed to ken and punched him, soon they began to exchange blows Kate couldn't sit back and watch so Kate tried separate the both of them. As she was holding Travis to stop he pushed her and her head hit the door knob and she fainted Kate was bleeding on her head. When Travis saw this he released ken and ken ran out of the room following the back door, Travis rushed to Kate and carried her in his arms and played her on the bed he sent one of his guard to call the family doctor course she was at the party. She came in and started treating Kate while Travis sent some of his guards to go look for ken. When the doctor was done treating Kate " don't worry she will be fine I just gave her some pain relive injections, give her this medicines if she's receiving any pain in her head " she gave Travis the medicine and left the room. The guards later returned that they couldn't find ken anywhere "find harder I know he haven't gone that far"  they left immediately and Travis paced around the room in anger he had already planned what to do to ken if they found him.
