"Honey Wyatt's here!" I heard my mom calling me from the living room.

My parents were friends with Wyatt's parents of course, all the rich people always knew each other somehow.

My mom loves Wyatt, and when I say loves I mean she—loves—him. When we were kids she always joked about how we're gonna get married someday, she had our entire future planned for us before we were 6 years old. I couldn't blame her for loving him, he was charming.

He knew his way with the ladies even when he was a baby, we always joke about how he used to flirt with the waitresses at restaurants when he was just an infant. He had golden blonde hair and huge blue eyes, he was honestly too pretty.

Now he had a rather dark blonde hair color but his charming eyes still remained, he was the quarterback of the team of course, the star player. He was around 6'3 and had a muscular body, he worked out almost every day and it showed.

I entered the living room and saw him chatting with my parents, his charming smile plastered on his face, my mom completely under his spell. Not in a gross milf way but more of a 'the son I never had' kind of way.

"Let's go" I told him and made myself known, he looked up and whistled as his eyes scanned me.

"Oh shut up" I rolled my eyes but my grin betrayed me, then I reached my hand out for him to grab, he gladly did.

"Have fun my darlings, Alex we're staying in the city tonight so if you want you can come here with your friends after" my mom reminded me of their plans as she hugged us goodbye.

"I doubt that you got all dressed up just for me" he teased as he opened the passenger door for me, a true gentleman.

"Would you stop it already" I pleaded and he chuckled while shaking his head.

"I don't know, this is kinda fun" he smirked and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Just start the car"

"I'm not your driver Aly" he wasn't really annoyed as he was still smiling.

"Would you start the car, please?" I tried again, with my nice voice this time.

"Yes ma'am".

I was in charge of the music and I decided to put some Drake songs on, Wyatt loved Drake so I knew he wouldn't complain. Thankfully, we spent the entire ride singing at the top of our lungs.

Before I could open my door he locked us inside the car, it was stupid of me to think I actually got away with the interrogation.

"You know she's coming with Zach right?" He was cautious with his words, as if I was made of glass and he was afraid I'd shatter into a million pieces.

"I figured, he'd be an idiot if he didn't pick her up"

"I'm sorry about all this, I just thought there's nothing going on, I think Heather and I misread the entire situation" he apologized and I shook my head, there was no need.

"She's my friend, there is nothing going on" I insisted and he sighed in frustration.

"Everyone's waiting for us, let's go" I pleaded desperately, he got out of the car and opened the door for me, helping me out of his black RAM truck.

She was standing next to Heather, her eyes were shining like stars, just beautiful. Before I could look away her gaze met mine and our intense staring contest began.

I saw her gulping hard, her lips parted slightly, I struggled not to look down at her but I knew I had to win this one, she was the one who had to look away. As time passed her eyes got darker and darker, I noticed her cheeks and ears redden, her throat bob, but I never broke the tension, no matter how tempted I was to do so.
