Another night, day, whatever you want to call it, in the Dream World, you're probably wondering, "Oh wow, so cool", nope, not when you're me.

Hi, I'm Y/n, the one and only Nightmare Princess, I'm a real sweetheart, but if you're mean to me, I'm mean back times 10, and yes, before you ask, my father is the Nightmare King, the one sealed away by the last Dream Keeper, Lunia, who used her hourglass to do it, but someone let my father out.

Right now, me, along with the Night Hunter, and some Grimspawn were chasing the masked man that has Lunia's hourglass, through the Candy Realm, and sadly it was broken, but not unusable.

Did I mention the Night Hunter is a real bore, yeah, he's annoying, and I just want to punch him in the face for yelling at some of the Grimspawn sometimes when they did nothing wrong.

Some of the Grimspawn are really nice, I even made friends with some of them, especially Sneak, Sniveling, and Susan, just, if you see Kyle, don't tell him that, he gets on my nerves.

"Princess!" A voice shouts.

"What?!" I turned and yelled at the Night Hunter.

"Stop daydreaming and start chasing!" He yells at me. "We need that hourglass!"

"Ugh, fine!" I groaned, flying faster using my bat-like wings.

My father wants to rule the Dream World, and possibly the Waking World if he knew that was possible, it's a good thing he doesn't know I can travel to the Waking World.

I don't want my father to destroy people's dreams and turn them into nightmares, or take kids down to the fear works to drain their imagination.

I've seen it, and it is awful, that's why I "try my best" when I'm forced to with the Night Hunter and capture dreamers.

"Come on, come on, come on!" A Grimspawn shouts as we continue our pursuit after the masked man.

"Got you now!" Another Grimspawn laughs.

We chased after the masked man, he ran through a group of dreamers as they ran away, screaming at the sight of me and the Grimspawn, and Cooper was there, who didn't seem to run away, along with two other kids who were off to the side.

I wonder if Mateo and Cooper have made up yet. They've been friends until Logan, jerkified him, Mateo's words, not mine, but Logan's not a bad guy, he's really sweet and kind when you get to know him, you just have to get him to open up.

The masked man kept running until he stopped when Sneak appeared right in front of him, along with Snivel and Susan.

The masked man held out the hourglass.

"He's using the hourglass!" Sneak says as he charges at the masked man who Dreamcrafted a sword.

I would Dreamcraft right now, but that would expose one of my many secrets.

The masked man moved to attack Sneak, who jumped before he kicked Snivel and Susan, turning back around to use his sword to block Sneak's claws as he stood on his rear legs beside moving to the side and swung the sword to Sneak between Snivel and Susan.

"Whoa!" Sneak says dizzily.

"Attack already!" The Night Hunter shouts at me.

Again with the shouting, ugh, I'm really starting to hate this guy more and more.

I dove forward, using my wings to land safely on the ground in front of the masked man.

The masked man swiftly spun his sword at me as I dodged, grabbed his arms, and began whispering to him. "Get out of here, while you still can, I'll try to buy you time."
