Kyo's P.O.V
beep...beep...beep...
I groan and turn over in my bed, when a sharp pain shoots through my side
"AHHH!!!" I bolt up screaming in pain and hold my side
Voices fill the room around me "She's awake!!"
"I thought we lost her"
"Quiet...give her some space"
"KYO!!!!!"
I slowly open my eyes, only to be met with a bright light causing me to shut them once again
Trying again, I slowly adjust to my surroundings
I'm in a hospital room, and that damned beeping noise that woke me up was a heart monitor thing
I look at myself. Broken leg, small gashes all over, and one large gash in my side.
That large gash must be what put me in pain when i woke up
Wait...someone was yelling earlier...
Turning to my other side, I see my fiends
Natalie is smiling, but is also crying
Aiden has a look of relief on his face, but I can tell he was crying earlier
Makota looks to me with a sad smile...something's bothering her. I can tell
"H-hey gu-guys" i say in a quiet raspy voice, causing me to cough a bit to clear my throat
"What's up?" I smile softly, my voice almost back to normal
"WHAT'S UP!! WHAT'S UP!!" Natalie screams "What's up is that you were in a car accident, almost died, and were in a coma for 4 days!!!!"
"f-four days!" I looked around the room for my phone, and found it on the bedside table along with other things i left at my grandma's house
Sure enough, when I turned it on, it read December 25...Christmas
"Wait...the accident. What about my parents, are they ok?"
They all frowned, telling me something was wrong
Tears began forming in my eyes "No...what happened?"
They all looked at each other and Natalie and Aiden backed away
Was what was bothering Makoto earlier about my parents?
Tears now streaming down my face I turned to Makoto "Makoto...what happened"
She fidgeted a bit and looked at her feet, unable to say anything
"MAKOTO!!! TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED" I scream at her
They all flinch at my outburst. I never yell at my friends in anger...
"Please..."
She sighs and looks up at me, tears forming in her eyes
"Kyo...I'm so sorry. They're dead"
My eyes widen in fear at what she says "Dead..."
They all nod
I look down at my fists, now tightly gripping the hospital sheets covering me
My vision becomes extremely blurry as more tears fall
"Get out..." i say quietly
Aiden steps forward "Kyo...we're so sorry. But-"
I turn my head up abruptly to face them and yell "I SAID GET OUT!!!"
