'Bye mum, i'm going to miss you so so much!' i whispered into my mum's ear while we hugged. 'i'm going to miss you too sweetheart, remember to buy me something special from Dominicana!' my mum giggled pulling out of the long embrace. 'Of course mum!' I turned around to find my dad standing there, his arms outstretched a tear threatening to flee his eye. 'oh dad' i sighed running into his arms while he started silently sobbing on my shoulder. 'i will be back soon daddy please don't cry, i'm a big girl and i will be able to take care of myself!' i whispered into his ear, that was my lame attempt at calming him down. 'i know, i know princess it's just that... 5 weeks without my little girl... gosh i'm acting like such a girl ay!' my dad laughed at himself putting a small smile on my lips. 'you'll be fine without me, you have Chloe and baby Frankie to look after, remember?' my dad let out a deep giggle and looked towards my younger brother. I walked over to Frankie who was sitting on the middle of our front yard playing with his Toy Story figures. 'hey baby, I'm gonna miss you, i hope you know that smelly!' i picked Frankie up and gave him a tight squeeze in return i received one of his sloppy kisses. Chloe appeared at the front door standing next to mum holding a small red velvet box. i gave her a puzzled look walking over to where she stood. 'and what's this princess?' i asked her confusion evident in my voice. 'it's a present so you won't forget me' she calmly responded, i took the tiny red box and opened it to reveal a beautiful ring. It had a purple gem in the middle of it my favourite colour... how did she afford this? she's only 10? i slid the ring on my middle finger and gave Angelika a long hug. 'Thank you baby, I love you' i whispered into her ear. As if on Que my two best friends Kaileigh and Alice honked at me to get my things and go. i put my suitcase in the boot, with one last look at my family i got into the car.
The plane was departing at 1:30 and it was already 1:10 me and the girls ran out of the car, running into the airport screaming at the top of our lungs for people to move out of our way. luckily the Que to put our bags onto the plane wasn't long at all. I clung onto my floral backpack and waited for the man checking my ticket to give it me back so i can get the perfect seat on the plane. Kaileigh and Alice were standing behind the man while he checked my ticket doing some highly weird 'hurry up dance' it was very amusing. The man gave me my ticket so me being the nice person that i am i gave him my best smile even though i was annoyed out of my mind at him for taking so freaking long! we ran to the plane like 3 idiotic kids... everyone and i mean everyone gave us the strangest looks but as if we actually cared right? after we sat down i took my Ipod out and started playing some One Direction songs, yeah i'm a fan but honestly I'm not one of those crazy freaky ones who stalk them, i know their names and i can recognize them but that's all. Looking up i noticed that we were already up in the air! how long was i sitting there thinking about 1D? oh well... i unbuckled my seat belt and stood up trying to get past my two best friends to get to the restrooms, i really needed a wazz! i reached the cubicle and just my luck it was taken! i stood there like an idiot for at least 5 minutes until i got annoyed and started banging on the door 'for god's sake hurry up!' i muttered under my breath, that's when a very attractive air hostess man stood next to me and started laughing. 'urm, why are you laughing? gosh is there something on my face?' i questioned him getting really annoyed now. 'Nope' he said popping the p, 'then why are you freaking laughing?' i snapped at him. he pushed the cubicle door open and carried on laughing, that's when i realized that the loo was vacant the whole time.... freaking lovely! 'thanks' i muttered and entered the loo. after i finished my business i walked out and bumped into someone 'ouch, watch it freaking idiot!' jeez what was their problem? i stood up and looked at the person i bumped into a realized it was Phoebe my old best friend aw! 'PHOEBE!' i screeched attacking her in a hug. 'hey what you doing here? what? i haven't seen you in like year!' she screamed hugging me back. 'Hey sit with me? we have to catch up?' i answered her so happy to see her, she used to be my best friend like ever! we talked and talked and talked about everything that happened to us lately and she has honestly not changed one bit the same wacky Phoebe she has always been aw! 'erm, excuse me i need to go wazz...again' i told pheobe a bit embarrassed at the fact i stopped a conversation to go have a wee. well when a girls gotta go she's gotta go right? when i returned to my seat Phoebe was gone? she just disappeared. i thought nothing of it and started playing on my ipod again trying the get the time to fly by.
