After the performance, there's beautiful sort of emptiness to the theatre. No one is piercing the silence in this beautiful hall. I feel a little voice telling me to sing. I have the stage to myself...So why the heck not. I begin playing the piano. The lyrics of "Somebody to Love" come from vocal chords.
I begin delicate yet passionate, then it grows into soulful passions. It feels amazing, I'd always loved to sing within empty theatres because my voice echos off the walls. The song, before I realize it is coming to a close. At the last round of the chorus and the remaining verses, I hear a male voice joining me. At first, I think that I am just hearing things. I then feel someone gingerly touch my back. The instantaneous sensation of goosebumps over takes my body. I turn to discover Darren smiling as usual. I abruptly stop playing the piano and Darren finishes the song. There's a moment of silence between us. Before any words come through our lips, I sprint away and head to the back door.
I hear Darren yelling behind me, "Wait, don't go! Please come back whoever you are!"
For a short moment I feel as if am in my own Cinderella story. I scream for a taxi. Again, one finds me quickly. I give the driver my apartment complex address. Minutes later, I run to bed. Where slumber comes instantly and I begin to dream. Wait! Did my dream of singing with Darren Criss come true?!
