I wouldn't let another word come out of her pink lips, knowing she would fight out of my aggressive hold.
"I love you." I said, planting a kiss on those lips.
Maya's POV
I gasped at those three words. My mind just dropped the last minutes that passed and began racing. He said it. He loved me, and I know he did.
"Please Maya, don't leave me." His raspy voice begged me.
Tears began falling from Tren's beautiful face, breaking my heart. It killed me to think that I truly hurt him by my mistake. It's him; he is the person who is keeping me alive. They drastically started falling more and more down his cheeks.
"Don't cry, Tren...please." I pleaded, wrapping my arms around his toned body. I nuzzled my head into the peek of his neck in comfort. "I love you too." I gently whispered.

Tren's POV
"You ready?" I waited for her usual nod as a response. I smoothly got out of my car, rushing to the other side to let her out. She grabbed her things and we began walking. My arm trailed around her waist, pulling her into me protectively. The only thing was that she resisted, tugging my arm away. Confusion spread on my face. Then, I made an attempt to take her hand, but she only swatted it away, letting out a playful laugh like it was a game.
I leaned in to give her a peck on her cheek, watching her walk away to her friends. I observed her, those jeans made her ass look amazing. My dimples showed as I smiled. Out of the midst, I was caught off guard.
"Hey Tren." Evan chimed.
"Hey Evan."
"So...you and Maya?" He asked in a disgusting way.
"Yeah..."
"Come on man! You can do better..." He took a moment to look in the direction she left. "She's Asian for God's sake!"
Those words made me clench my fist, narrowing my eyes in at him. Wanting me to take the gun that I knocked from Maya's grasp and shoot it at him. I swallowed, what seemed like my heart. My face showed a stern look, glaring right at Evan as he got quiet.
"Something wrong?"
It's those people who thought like Evan who got under Maya's skin; who's made Maya think so low of her appearance, who's made her come seconds away from committing teenage suicide.
"Yeah. You." I stated. "You, and every other fucking bastard in this world."
"Whoa mate! Calm down I-"
"NO! I can't believe you said that Evan! Damn you! You don't know a thing about Maya." People started gathering, making us in the middle. Evan's face turned serious, not expecting my response. "She is a beautiful, wonderful, and fragile girl. Are you fucking racist?! I don't give a damn that she's Asian. She's mine; and I'm hers. If you don't except it, there's the fuck I give." I pointed somewhere far in the distance, making my clear point. Pressure rose, chatter increased. All eyes were on Evan, wondering his acceptance of my speech. "She was literally seconds away from shooting herself...because of you." I marched towards the crowd of high schoolers. "Because of ALL OF YOU judgmental people. There's more to people than what you can only see with the eyes." That's all I had to say. I left Evan in the middle, grinning at my success. Walking away, I felt a great rush threw my body. My heart was beating very rapidly, making me think people were able to hear it. I kept my chin up and made my way to first period.
-
Lately, Maya's wanted me to hang out with my friends, and me letting her hang out with her friends, before the first period bell. I don't know why, but I allowed it. I couldn't help but think that she doesn't want to spend time with me as much, I was scared that it was the case. I still wasn't familiar to that many people, more importantly: any guys. The girl's still attempted to alter my attention, doing the stupidest things on earth in hopes to get a reaction from me.
