The event venue emerges not just as a space for music but as a vibrant celebration of Korean culture, uniting fans from diverse backgrounds in a shared passion and love for K-Pop.
As this happens, a certain bodyguard stood patiently in front of a door, along with Kunwoo as Jieun prepares for her moments in the spotlight. They stood in front of Jieun's dress room that she is currently getting treatment from her make up artists and stylists.
"They're taking their sweet time." Yejun mumbled under his breath as he tested his patience with all this waiting.
He's dressed formally for the event, as well as the other bodyguards in their unit. His were a little loose due to his own preference as he didn't like almost-skin tight clothes. He also has a scarf around his neck to cover up his trademark Raven tattoo.
Yejun grew cautious thanks to Yohan's warning. With a huge tattoo on his neck that literally screams his alias, he made a move to cover it up. Bosses from other companies could be affiliated with the underground, and he wouldn't want to be recognized. Even though no one except his gang knew what he looked like, the Raven on his neck is still quite famous.
"That's just how it is here, Yejun. Be more used to it." Kunwoo simply reminded him as the latter only reluctantly nodded in response, uncertain about how long his patience will last.
Yejun could only entertain himself with the loud music that could still be heard despite the thick walls. It seems that there's a group performing on the stage, singing and dancing their hearts out.
'Sounds interesting.' He mused as he continued to listen as they wait for Jieun to get done as they'll escort her to the spotlight and after that to the tables prepared for idols.
As he was absorbed in his own thoughts, two figures made their way to where he and Kunwoo is currently at. The veteran bodyguard noticed first, revealing them to be Jong-han and Hanteo, one of Jieun's managers. It seems like the boss is here to wish Jieun the best for her upcoming performance. He's supposed to be in a table arranged for the big bosses of the companies.
"Glad to see you two." Jong-han greeted the two bodyguards with a smile and then followed by Hanteo who gave a nod of acknowledgement, also greeting them.
"Same." Yejun plainly responded, no enthusiasm whatsoever before zoning out as he was focusing in the music.
Kunwoo could only sweatdrop at his demeanor as he asked forgiveness for Yejun's behavior, "Sorry about him, hyung. Typical him." And he went on to greet them also.
Jong-han only laughed at this as he's now used to it. He reassure Kunwoo that it was no big deal, "Typical him indeed. Don't worry about it, Kunwoo." And then he went on to check on how Jieun is currently doing, "How's the preparations?"
"I think they're almost done there."
And speak of the devil, the door in front of them suddenly opened revealing a stunning lady by the name Lee Jieun. Yejun who was in trance, has finally broken out of it and his attention is now laid on her. Beautiful is an understatement. She looked ethereal.
