All The Little Things - Hyunho

Chapter 1

Hyunjins life is pretty mundane. His everyday life usually consists of school, hanging out with his friends, occasional photoshoots and flirting with girls, obviously. So the one time that he gets sick and bedridden by the flu therefore having to miss the first week of a new school year, of course that's when a so called 'Minho' appears out of nowhere, bringing chaos, like it's an old acquaintance, with him and demolish all the little things Hyunjin has worked so hard to create. He's talking about his role in school as the 'prince' who embodies the word perfection. Perfect grades, perfect looks, perfect personality, perfect talent. Hyunjin has worked his ass off his whole life to achieve this kind of social status and it seems that in order to keep it, he'll have to face yet another, but this time more annoying, obstacle that fell in his path to becoming the one and only 'perfect guy' of the school.

He doesn't understand what all the hype is about. Every single day for the past week, Felix has been coming over to his house, feeding him with all this information about the interesting new student. At first, Hyunjin was expecting to hear about a beautiful girl or a sexy girl or a really super smart girl but to his dismay it was indeed a guy. After hearing those words fall out of Felixs' mouth, he instantly lost all interest and simply stopped paying attention to any of Felixs' yapping.

It was no different the second day. Only that now Jisung has also decided to tag along with Felix. The guy who's usually unbothered by this kind of stuff, but now he had an awful lot to say. A suspicious amount actually.

It started really bothering Hyunjin on the third day when against any of his wildest dreams, he greeted Seungmin at his front door. Now, it wasn't unusual that Felix was interested, Jisung was a little surprising but Seungmin? If Seungmin took the time out of his day to come all the way to Hyunjins house to tell him something, which is the only reason he would have come this far and not just waited for Hyunjin to go back to school, then there was something incredibly wrong.

But Seungmin didn't say anything. Not until both Felix and Jisung were out of the room. The latter went to the bathroom and the former hurried downstairs to get some snacks.

Hyunjin shifted nervously from where he was sitting on his bed, fiddling with his fingers, like he always did when he was nervous. He knew what was about to come. He knew why Seungmin was here and he knew why he waited so long to say anything. He just knows Seungmin all too well.

Finally mustering up the courage to sneak a peak at said boy, Hyunjin shifts his gaze to where Seungmin is sitting in his desk chair and finds him flipping through a book he picked up from Hyunjins bookshelf. His expression is calm and not one of worry or caution. Maybe Hyunjin was just overreacting? He does that sometimes, so it's very much possible.

"He might cause you some trouble you know." There it is. Turns out his intuition wasn't wong after all.

Hyunjin doesn't say anything. He's not sure how to respond so he just stares at Seungmin who still hasn't looked up from his book. He settles on something simple.

"How much?"

"A lot. Possibly. Might not though." Oh God, Seungmin! Which is it? Hyunjin curses his friends manner of speech that never lets him know his true thoughts.

"Worst case scenario?"

Seungmin sighs and finally lets go of the book to look up at Hyunjins troubled expression.

They've known each other since kindergarten, always being by each others side. Hyunjin simply can't imagine a life without Seungmin and vice versa so it's obvious that Seungmin knows all about Hyunjins goals and inevitably supports him.

He doesn't show it often because on the surface Seungmin is a cold, sarcastic and very apathetic person who doesn't seem to care much about anyone, but because they've been together for so long Hyunjin knows that Seungmin just expresses his love differently.
