I decided to make another "Jean x Reader." I couldn't end the relationship with you and Jean on HFWC. So, here you go! A new book! :) Hope you enjoy it!
--------------------------You ran in the hallway, trying to get to class on time. You accidentally bumped into someone. You looked at the person and muttered, "Sorry."
"Um, excuse me? Did you just run into me? Yes. You did. Well, you better watch where you're going, gosh!" The girl held up her hand. Her fingernails were painted red with silver stripe designs. "And I don't need you ruining my nails!"
You rolled your eyes. "It's going to come off eventually."
"Feisty much?" She said, glaring at you.
"Annoying much?" You shot back.
Before she could reply, you walked past her to first period. You saw posters on the walls that said, "Go Titans! We can win!"
You reached the class and said "Good morning" to your teacher. You gave her a small smile, which she returned."Okay, class. Turn to page 125 in your textbooks and read all the way to page 141. Take notes on what you think is important. Put it into your own words for one hundred percent. This is a grade and it is due by the end of class today. You may begin." Your teacher said.
You got straight to reading and doing your notes.
A boy with two-toned hair looked at you. You glanced at him before focusing on your work.
The boy kept staring.
How come I've never noticed this girl before?
"Jean, is something wrong?" The teacher asked.
The boy, who was referred to as Jean,'s face turned crimson before he looked at the teacher. "No, Ma'am. I was just trying to find my pencil."
"Your pencil is on (l/n)?" She smirked.
"I-- No-- Yes-- No, Ma'am." He replied, embarrassed.
"Resume working, then." She said.
The boy resumed reading and taking notes.
--
At the end of class, you turned in your paper. You completed it.
"Good job, (f/n). Completed, as always. You could be a great tutor, if you wanted to be." Your teacher smiled.
"Thank you, Ma'am. But, it would be time consuming." You pointed out.
"Yes," She agreed. "But, it could help someone. Just think about it, okay? You could make a difference in students' grades."
"I think about it." You said, reluctantly.
"Okay. Have a nice day, (f/n)." She sat down at her desk.
"You too." You left the classroom and headed to your second period class.
--
It was time for Art class. You entered the building and sat down at the table you shared with five other people. You always were quiet in that class, focusing on your assignment. You answered when someone spoke to you, but that was it.
"(f/n), do you like anime?" A girl at the table asked. She was a red-head with emerald green eyes.
"Yes, of course!" You looked at her and smiled.
"I want to cosplay Patty from 'Soul Eater!'" She told you.
"I'd cosplay Liz, then." You replied.
"We should cosplay together sometime!" The girl suggested with a grin.
You nodded. "We should. It would be fun."
You showed your drawing to the teacher. She checked off your name, meaning that you turned it in. You sat back down and began to do a free draw.
You sketched out the costumes and before class was over, you showed it to the girl.
She smiled and nodded. "We should make the costumes, it might be less expensive."
It was your turn to nod. "Yeah. Um, do you have a phone?" You asked, nervous.
"Yes, do you want my number?" She offered.
"Sure." You replied before she ripped off a piece from her paper and wrote down her number. She handed it to you.
You put it in your backpack and continued talking to her.
Before you knew it, class was over. You said goodbye to the girl and left for the last class of the day.
When you arrived to class, you sat down in your seat and waited for class to begin.
"Okay, class, do your bell work." Your teacher said once everyone arrived.
You wrote down your answer on the index card before you wrote down the name, class period and date. You put it in the small basket that had the class period written on the front.
"Okay." The teacher said after writing "History" in big letters on the chalkboard. "Today you will. ." He began writing what he was saying underneath that one word. ". . Work with a partner. . Two. . People. You will write five paragraphs. . With both of you doing work. The paragraphs will be on. ."
A few minutes later, he wrote down the names of who will be in a pair. You got paired up with Jean. The boy in first period who stared at you. You wanted to know why he did.
Once you scooted your desk next to his, you said, "I'm (f/n)."
"Jean. Jean Kirstein." He replied.
"Yeah, I know." You told him. Once he raised an eyebrow, you added, "You're the boy who stared at me. I know that."
"I-- I was looking for my pencil!" He exclaimed, embarrassed.
"Your pencil was on your desk, genius. You're lucky I didn't point that out." You told him.
". . Whatever. . Anyway, we should both write two paragraphs and then half of the last one." He suggested.
"Makes sense. Maybe you are a genius, after all." You teased and poked your tongue out at him.
He did the same before you took out a piece of paper and started writing.
In thirty minutes, you both were finished. Apparently, you both already thought out what you were going to write.
Jean handed the paper to the teacher who looked at you and then at him.
"You can go on your phones or talk, just don't get too loud." He said.
Jean nodded and walked over to you. "We can go on our phones or talk, but we can't get too loud."
"Alright." You replied. You opened up your book bag to take out your phone.
"You're different from the rest of these girls in school, you know."
This made you pause and take your hand out of your book bag before you could grab your phone. "What do you mean?" You raised an eyebrow.
