It was afternoon in the Rainbow Kingdom, and the sky had began to turn orange. Zee was sitting on his bed, thinking about something. Ever since he held Grace in the hospital, he felt something special. He couldn't explain it. It was a warm and fuzzy feeling. He had never felt this way before, and he didn't know why. But whatever the reason, he had made a decision.
"I want a little brother. I'm going to ask mom and dad. Maybe I can have one." said Zee
Zee went to the living area. Zed and Zen were sitting on the couch together watching TV. Zen was leaning on Zed.
"Hey mom, dad?" said Zee
"Oh hey Zeester. What's up?" asked Zed
"Well, I need to talk to you guys."
"Oh, well ok then. Have a seat and talk away." said Zen
Zee sat down in an armchair.
"Mom, dad, I...I want a little brother." said Zee
Immediately, Zed and Zen's eyes widened, and they sat straight up.
"Oh, uh, you, you do?" asked Zed
"Yeah." said Zee "Could you like uh, go and buy one or make one or something?"
"Uuuum" said Zed trying not to laugh. "That's uh, not quite how it works buddy. It's a little more...complicated."
"Oh..." said Zee
"Why do you want a little brother buddy?" asked Zed
Well, the thing is, when I held Grace at the hospital, I felt something special. I felt all warm and fuzzy, and when I held her, it felt almost magical, you know?
Zed and Zen smiled.
"We understand Zee. We had that same feeling when you were born." said Zed "It would be nice having another little one around, but I can't promise anything. Me and mom will think about it, ok?
"Ok dad." said Zee
Suddenly, Zee got a Face Bubble. It was from the Rainbow King.
"Hello Zee." said the Rainbow King
"Hello your Magesty." said Zee "Why have you called?"
Well, I'm calling because I need your help.
"With what your Magesty?" asked Zee
"Well, I'm working on a special Wish tonic. If it's successful, it will be able to help give the Wishes extended use of their powers. Anyway, I was wondering if you could come to the castle and help me make it."
"Of course your Magesty. I'll be right over!" said Zee
Oh thank you Zee! Just so you know, it's going to take a while. You'll have to stay the night. But it'll be lots of fun!"
"Ok. See you soon." said Zee
"Goodbye." said the Rainbow King
Zee ended the call.
"Hey mom, dad, I'm going to go now." said Zee
"Ok sweetie. You still have clothes there, right?" asked Zen
"Yeah. And a toothbrush too." said Zee
"Alright then. Remember, be on your best behavior, and say please and thank you." said Zen
"I will. Bye mom, bye dad." said Zee
"Bye." They both said
"We love you." said Zen
"I love you too." said Zee
Zee turned around and left the Wishing Tree, leaving just Zed and Zen.
"Wow." said Zed "You know, since being back in the kingdom, I can't remember the last time it was just the two of us."
